Mondos is the place to be.
I know that typically Mondos is filled with Costco Soft tops and surf students that pack the water like anchovies.
But on some days, when the Moon is full, and the swell direction is right, and the tide hits that perfect zone, there are no soft-tops.
Just the local Mondos Surfers Union, chapter 805 including: Dane Reynolds, Kelly Slater, Bobby Martinez, Kellen Ellison, Mike and Matt McCabe, Tommy McKeown, Nathaniel and Taylor Curran, Joe Rickbaugh and much more.
This was shot February 24, 2013, the day before the Quiksilver boys flew to Australia for the Quiksilver Pro Gold Coast 2013.
This was taken with a Canon T3i and a GoPro Hero mounted to a Gath Helmet.
The music is from a live show at the Theater with a band whose members are from the beach you are watching.
