買っちゃった♪ 羽生くんのTシャツ。
I bought T-shirt of Yuzuru Hanyu.
こんどの土曜日に、仙台で凱旋パレードがあります。
なかなか予算が集まらず、寄付を含めたTシャツの販売が急きょ決まりました。発売は先週の土曜日の19日。今日すでに、かなり品薄でした。わたしが行ったアエルの売り場にはまだあったけど、午後に刺繍のレッスンにいらした生徒さんは、あちこちまわってやっとアエルで買えたとか。わたしは、ラッキーだったみたいです。ひとり２枚まで、と、制限つきの販売でした。
予定の予算はなんとか集まったみたいで、よかったよかった。
それにしても、これだけみんなの期待をあびて、自分の行動にこれだけのお金が動いて、羽生くんは若いのに大変なものを背負っちゃっているんだな、と尊敬の気持ちが大きくなりました。
わたしは、土曜日は残念ながらパレードを見に行くことはできないのですが、お天気もよさそうだし、楽しいイベントになるとよいですね。
He is the figure skating gold medalist of the Olimpic game and the world cup. He will march in a parade on this coming Saturday in Sendai where he come from. We, Sendai citizens are very proud of him. This is the shirt for fund-raising for the parade.
Unfortunately I can't go to see him. Still I want to take part of it.
I hope it'll be happy day on Saturday in Sendai.

かっしー かばちゃん かなでちゃん Yurie, Rie and Kanade
日本語だと韻を踏んでいるこの方々。金曜日にお目にかかった、ブータンつながりともだちです。
I met very good frineds of mine on Friday.
まずは、かっしー。ランチはインディアン。
This is Yurie. We had Indian which we often ate in Bhutan.
うちの学校のアイドルです。
私の方が、10歳くらい年上ですが、当時、かっしーは先生。わたしは生徒。
学校の中だけじゃなくて、日本祭にまぜてもらったり、トレッキング行ったり、ともに過ごした時間は長くて濃かったのです。
実に9年ぶり！
かっしーは、英語の学校をひらいて、先生＆経営者になっていました。
当時も、かわいいだけじゃない！できる女として仲間内での評価がかなり高かったかっしー。今後の活躍が楽しみです。
「ちゃんと話せる、言葉としてみについた英語じゃないと、結局点もとれないし、定着しないよね～！」
と、もりあがりました。わたしも、友人たちとはそこそこしゃべるけど、場面状況にあわせて「きちんと」話すのは苦手です。ちゃんと勉強したいもんです。
She was very popular in my school in Bhutan. I'm elder than her but she was a teacher and I was a student those days. We spent together quite long, not only in school but on trekking, Japanfestivals, and so.
This is first time in 9 years!
She is running private English school. We knew she is very special woman who can manage a lot. Now she is more powerful.

教室に、かばちゃんとかなでちゃんが遊びに来てくれました。
Rie and Kanade visited class room.
かばちゃんも、ブータンでともに過ごした友人です。日本祭だのトレッキングだの・・・、って、書くとかっしーとしてたこと似てるな。
おめめぱっちりのかなでちゃん、はじめましてです。機嫌が良くて、愛想がよくて、とてもとてもかわいい女の子です。遊んでくれて、ありがとう！
楽器を持つのが早いか、麻雀牌を持つのが先か？気になるところです。
わたしの希望としては、牌ですけどね
「ろーん！」って、教えておこう！
Rie also a friend who spent in Bhutan together. We spent together quite long, on trekking, Japanfestivals, and so. That means I was doing similer things with different friends... But Yurie and Rie stayed different time. They don't know each other, yet.
Her daughtor Kanade is very happy baby. She is so sweet. She gave me happiness a lot. Her name "Kanade" means playing music. I wish she plays beautiful music in the future.
かっしーも、かばちゃんも、ご主人もそれぞれブータンにいたときに知り合った方で、つまり、わたしはどっちも知っていて、しかも気付いてみればかばちゃん以外みんな麻雀してた。
みんながそれぞれ仕事して、家庭を持って、ちゃんと暮らしているのを知るのはうれしいものです。たくさん、たくさん、刺激と元気をいただきました。みんなありがとう！
I know their husbands and I spent with them quite long, too. I'm glad to know that all of them are fine. Hope to see them again soon.

すてきな大分 Lovely Ohita
先週末の雪もまだ消えていないというのに、またですね。まったく、今年の雪ははげしくてびっくりです。
こんなときは、気分だけでも晴れやかになる写真を眺めましょう。
We had heavy snow last weekend, and the snow isn't melted yet. However, we are having next heavy snow now. It's big disappointment... So, I want to show you something happily beautiful.
大分空港です。仙台にこの飛行機で帰ってきました。
ほんの10日前のことだなんて、信じられません。大分でも特別あたたかなときにあたったようでしたが、それにしても別世界です。
This was at Ohita airport. I took this air craft to come back to Sendai. It was only 10 days ago. Thinking about the snow, I can't beleave this blue sky and the sea.
こちらは、大分に行くときの写真。同じ雪でも、山なら単純に美しいと楽しめます。

2月3日(月)に、大分大学に行ってきました。
午前中は、講義。一般教養の、「南アジアの生活文化を知ろう」という講義で、単発講師。ブータンの刺繍の紹介と、インド、ブータン、日本を比較しながら、仏教についてのお話。半年の講義の最後のおまけで、わたしがお話することが試験にでるわけではありません。かなり駆け足の内容でしたが、写真をたくさん見ていただきながら、お話してきました。
これがきっかけで、テレビや新聞で「ブータン」を目にしたときに、少し興味を持ってもらえたらうれしい。興味までいかなくても、漠然と親近感を持ってくれたら、それだけでも、すごくうれしいです。
I was at Ohita University on 3rd Feb.
In the morning, I gave lecture. I talked on Bhutanese embroidery and Buddhism. About Buddhism, I compare India, Bhutan and Japan. I only had short time and what I talked was just a tip of those big theme. I know I can't talk a lot. So I tried to make them enjoy knowing about those. I showed many photos and talked.
If students are interested in Bhutan, it's big happiness for me.
午後は、教育学部家庭科のゼミの人たちと、ちょこっと実技。糸をよって、好きな太さの糸をつくってみよう！体験です。
In the afternoon, I gave small workshop with students who are studying to be domestic science teachers. Students tried to make thick thread with fine thread.
わたしを含めたみんなの糸です。
それぞれのテイストが出ていて、おもしろいものですね。この写真を撮ってみんなに返す時、全員にちゃんと返すことができました。学生さんたちはみんな初対面。普段の好みも性格も、何も知らず、ほんの1～2時間一緒にすごしただけですが、やっぱり人の印象と作り出すものというのはリンクするものなのですね。
それぞれ違うけど、みんなきれい～
糸に親しんでほしいと願っております。簡単なことだけど、それだけに応用もきくから。
These are the thread which we made. The colors which they chose are so different and it was very interesting. I could recognised each thread maker. There are each person's taste on what they made. All are so beautiful
I hope they feel easy to work with thread which I love. It's not difficult but very practical.
大分で食べた魚が、とってもおいしかったです。
うちの母は愛媛県の西南、海に面した方の出身です。大分はおむかいさん。東北の魚と違って、淡白で、さっぱりとくせがなく、なつかしい味でした。同じ海で獲ってますから。
まったく観光もしていないし、温泉にもつかっていません。でも、大分の、なんとなくおおらかな雰囲気がブータンにも通じるあたたかさで、気に入りました。
また行こーっと。
I enjoyed the fish in Ohita. It reminds me my grandmother's home. My mother is from Ehime which is just oposite side of Ohita over the sea. The fish in Sendai where I live has more fat but the fish in the south has less fat. The fish I ate in Ohita is from the same sea which I ate in Ehime. Actually I like both. But, what I had this time is not available in Sendai. I enjoyed a lot.
I didn't have time for sightseeing and I didn't get chance to enjoy hot spring in Ohita. Stil, Ohita is very atractive for me. The atmosfare is very warm and relaxed. There are similality with Bhutan.
