Now that "Like a dragon series - Original Soundtrack" has been released, I'd like to take this opportunity to write down on this blog the songs that became the
"roots of my background music."
I've loved soundtracks since I was childhood. So perhaps it was a "natural flow" that I became involved in the music production of
"Incidental Music."
( Needless to say, I think the connections and relationships I have with many people are a big factor.)
Now, I'd like to introduce the tracks separated into 3 categories: animation, live-action films, and game software.
First from animation part,,,
【超音戦士ボーグマン - Borgman Thrill (time 09:43~10:44)】
The first time I bought a CD was when I was in elementary school. I love this anime title and the first CD I bought was not an artist song but a soundtrack lol
SEGA was involved in the media mix of this title. When I think about it, I feel a very strange "fate."
【風の谷のナウシカ - 風の伝説 (Legend of the Wind)】
This tracks perfectly fits the worldview of the anime and the atmosphere of the background music. Even when I was a child, it was one of the songs that moved me.
The animated movie “Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind” is great, but the comic version is even better so you should read it ☆☆☆
【攻殻機動隊 - replica】
I have almost all of the soundtracks from the “GHOST IN THE SHELL” series. This is the track I’ve listened to the most. With this animation title, I encountered "Yoko Kanno-san" and "ORIGA-san", and it's not an exaggeration to say that my musical life was profoundly changed.
【INNOCENCE - 傀儡謡_怨恨みて散る】
When I first heard this track, it really blew my mind...
It was a style of music I haven’t heard of before so it really brought home the vastness of the music genre.
【Gundam UC - A Letter】
My friend told me "Matsuzaki will definitely like it, so I want you to listen to this track," but it was really wonderful!!! In a sense, this song may be the one I listened to the most in my 30s.
【Gundam UC - DESERT】
If I had to describe this tracks in words, it would be "a song in which various emotions coexist."
Since "A Letter," I've listened to all the soundtracks in the Gundam UC series, and this is one of my most favorite tracks.
And, Last one track...
【VIOLET EVERGARDEN - The Spirit of Kazalli】
"What's your favorite anime?"
In the survey conducted in the first class I taught at a vocational school, the most frequently written title was "Violet Evergarden." I gave the soundtrack a listen and it was great.
※ The background music for “Frieren The Slayer” was also wonderful.
That's about it.
Listening to them in chronological order like this made me realize my taste in music hasn’t changed as much as I thought. I was able to reaffirm that there are consistent aspects of myself.
”I like it.”
”I empathized.”
If there is such a sound tracks, I would be happy.
