This personal scheme began as a way to "DIG" into my roots, as I've always loved soundtracks. Following the animation part, we move on to the live-action film part. Since there were many tracks to introduce, we'll present them in two parts: Japanese films and foreign films.

Let's start with the Japanese films →

【あぶない刑事 - KEEP ON CLIMAX】

This is a title beloved by everyone living in the Yokohama area. When I was a kid, I remember getting super excited when this music came on.

BTW... I only found out as an adult that it was a cover of an Alan Parsons Project song.

(I’m from Yokohama♪)

【戦場のメリークリスマス - Merry Christmas Mr.Lawrence】

I think songs that are everyone’s favorite piece of music has both great lyrics and melodies. This is a very rare instrumental piece outside of classical music. This song is really amazing.

It's a famous tune that represents Japan.

【踊る大捜査線 - Moon Light】

The first time I took the initiative to go to the theaters to see a live-action Japanese film was for “Bayside Shakedown 2: Shut Down the Rainbow Bridge!”

As an aside,,,

The acoustic guitar arrangement of “Receive You” that plays when Kiryu Kazuma appears in “Like a Dragon 7” is a homage to this song.

【tokyo.sora - Skimsky】

In my 20s, I loved “All About Lily Chou-Chou.” “Trifle Song” which is included in this soundtrack, was used as a sound effect when Hyd Lunch preformed live.
I still play this soundtrack for my students.

【Dr.コトー診療所 - Titoli di COTO】

I think no matter how old you are, this song is truly wonderful.
I haven’t written an original song in a while.
If I could one day create an original song like this, I feel like I would be able to look back on my life as having been “rich.”

That's about it.

I’ve arrange them in chronological order again like last time. There aren't any songs from recent live-action Japanese films, but I feel that this just shows how diverse and fast-paced the industry is these days.

I listened to each song more carefully in the past. I can't deny that feeling.

”I like it.”

”I empathized.”

If there is such a sound tracks, I would be happy.
