Robin Lane Fox氏の歴史小説（？）、『Alexander the Great』（1973）の一節に
「to eat a ritual meal of figs, sour milk and leaves of terebinth.」とあり、ここで、
「ritual meal」（祭儀食）として「figs」、「sour milk」、「leaves of terebinth」を記す。

そのうち、「sour milk」は、日本で言う「蘇」に当たるか…とにかく、
鵜呑みにすれば、古代において、「terebinth」の「葉」（leaves）が、
儀礼的に（宗教的に）、一定の意味を持っていた。そういうことだ。
当然ながら薬膳としての効能もあったと思われるが、それ以前に、
【ＢΘＭ十Ａ】（LAM.GAL＝“大市”、565）が、何らかの意味合いで、
重要性だったのであり、これを負うのが、「神大市比売」と言えよう。
