My god. Just an antique card of a baseball player, and it is 3.7 million dollars!
Dave, do you perhaps collect old baseball cards?
I’m not interested in … that kind of cards.
What kind do you like?
デ: For instance, this.
If your answer is no, tell me so before I spend 15 bucks on the drinks.
This is a pick-up line that a man might say at a singles bar.
That’s right. Funny, isn’t it?
Do you use this at bars?
Come on, Laura. I’m a happily married man. I show this one only when I don’t think of cool puns.
Here’s another one.
Well, here I am. What are other two wishes you got?
Ha, ha! I like this.
They sell these cards at book stores in America.
Japanese men don’t do this kind of come-on.
Takada Junji might pull this kind of trick. His card says:
(Honey, don’t people tell you that you look like Kitagawa Keiko?)
When the woman blushes and shakes her head, he turns the card around.
(Of course not, because you do NOT look like her at all.)
If I was told that crap, I’d give a half-smile and a half-damn.
