大相撲五月場所の中日 (なかび: 相撲場所の8日目で真ん中の日) である本日 (令和3年 [2021年] 5月16日 [日曜日]) は、五月場所の新序出世披露 (しんじょしゅっせひろう: 新しく番付に載る力士を紹介する儀式) が行われました。土俵上では10人の新しい力士が紹介されました。再出世の力士が一人いるので、今場所出世の力士は11人です。これらの力士は七月場所から序ノ口力士として番付に載ります。
Today (Sunday, May 16, Reiwa 3 [2021]), the eighth and middle day of the ozumo May basho (大相撲五月場所中日), the shinjo shusse hiro ceremony (新序出世披露: the ceremony to introduce new rikishi whose names are listed in the rikishi ranks for the first time) for the May basho was held. In total, 10 new rikishi were introduced in the dohyo. There are 11 new rikishi in total because one of them was outside the ranks but came back to the ranks by performing well (再出世). In the July basho (七月場所), the 11 rikishi will be listed in the ranks as those in the jonokuchi division (序ノ口: the lowest-ranking division for rikishi).

春雷と木竜皇は兄弟で、前時津風親方の息子です。
Syunrai and Kiryukou are brothers. They are the sons of the previous Tokitsukaze Oyakata (前時津風親方).
最後に、土俵上の行司さんが以下の言葉を述べました。
「これに控えおります力士儀 (りきしぎ) にござります。只今までは番付外 (ばんづけがい) に取らせおきましたるところ、当場所儀 (とうばしょぎ) に成績優秀につき番付面に差し加え (さしくわえ) おきまする間 (あいだ)、以後相変わらずご贔屓 (ひいき)、お引き立てのほど、ひとえに願い上げ奉ります (ねがいあげたてまつります)。」
At the end of the ceremony, the gyoji (行司: referee) who was in the dohyo made the following remarks.
"Those sitting in front are the new rikishi. They were outside the rikishi ranks until now, but they will be added to the ranks because they performed well in this basho. We sincerely and fervently ask you to encourage and support them in their sumo career."
