1 そこへ弟子たちがやって来て、「私たちのうち、だれが天国で一番偉いのでしょうか」と尋ねました。
1 At that time the disciples came to Jesus and asked, “Who, then, is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?”
2 するとイエスは、近くにいた小さい子どもを呼び寄せ、みんなの真ん中に立たせてから、話しだされました。
2 He called a little child to him, and placed the child among them.
3 「よく聞きなさい。悔い改めて神に立ち返り、この小さい子どもたちのようにならなければ、決して天国には入れません。
3 And he said: “Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.
4 ですから、小さい子どものように自分を低くする者が、天国では一番偉いのです。
4 Therefore, whoever takes the lowly position of this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
5 また、だれでもこの小さい者たちを、わたしのために受け入れる者は、わたしを受け入れるのです。
5 And whoever welcomes one such child in my name welcomes me.
6 反対に、わたしに頼りきっているこの子どもたちの信仰を失わせるような者は、首に大きな石をくくりつけられて海に投げ込まれたほうが、よっぽどましです。
6 If anyone causes one of these little ones—those who believe in me—to stumble, it would be better for them to have a large millstone hung around their neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea.
7 悪がはびこるこの世はいまわしいものです。誘惑されるのは避けられないとしても、誘惑のもとになる人はいまわしいものです。
7 Woe to the world because of the things that cause people to stumble! Such things must come, but woe to the person through whom they come!
8 罪を犯させるものは、手だろうが足だろうが、切り取ってしまいなさい。五体満足で地獄へ行くより、片手片足になっても天国に入るほうが、よっぽどましです。
8 If your hand or your foot causes you to stumble, cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to enter life maimed or crippled than to have two hands or two feet and be thrown into eternal fire.
9 また、目が罪を犯させるなら、そんなものはえぐり出しなさい。両眼そろって地獄へ行くより、片目でも天国に入るほうが、よっぽどましだからです。
9 And if your eye causes you to stumble, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to enter life with one eye than to have two eyes and be thrown into the fire of hell.

◎子供のような信仰：自分の中で大きなテーマ
●「わたしに頼りきっている」※良い表現だと思う
〇全てのことをまかせてしまう、やってほしいと願う
〇罪はだめだと拒む→イエスがだめと言うから、嫌がるから→叱られたら泣く、しかし離れない→下手に自立していないが信仰の完全な自律がある
★イエスに頼り切る
◎弱者を受け入れる→イエスにすること
●「小さい者を受け入れる者は、わたしを受け入れる」
〇「この小さい者にしたことはわたにしたのです」と一緒
〇弱者を見下すどころか、習う→親切に出来る
★小さい者、弱者に親切にする：チャレンジ→偽善者と言われることをこわがらない、思い切って良い事をしたらいい
◎罪をおかさせる者にならない
●きわめて罪として重いことを示唆
★前と逆に小さい者を見下すことは危険なこと、つまり上と逆
◎罪の発生源を絶つ
★環境を変えるなど事前の対策

１、全て祈る：信じきるために
祈り項目を選別せず全てに小さく祈る→習慣へ
悔い改めも瞬時に
２、弱者に良い事１つ
今日の課題、イエスに親切にすることと同じ
