In view of the circumstances, I still think it's strange how the liaison located Mr. Moran coincidently.
状況を考えると、どうやって例の連絡員がモラン氏を、
偶然にも発見できたのか、未だに謎です。

I guess the person hate the defection of Mr. Moran.

In my profiling, The identity of Mr. X is hostile spy as high government official.
