エセル エニスという素晴らしい歌手の人が歌った曲"an occasional man"をウクレレ用にアレンジしてみました。 最近クランダは冬(乾季)に入り天気もよくなったので試しにMUSIC VIDEOを作ってみました(o^-')b
ロケ先は家の庭です。
何度か試してみたのだけど、なぜか音と映像がシンクしないので、youtubeのをよかったら見てください。

さて、今日はローリングココナッツさんの報告です。私達がキワヤ商会を訪れた時に、またもや、安田さんからの紹介で、ローリングココナッツの編集部の方々にお会いでき、しかも、インタビューやビデオまで！
撮って頂いたビデオがローリングココナッツのページの４chに...。
i must tell you about THE ROLLING COCONUTS .introduced by Mr. YASUDA who works in the KIWAYA... we can't thank him enough ..
they took our interview for thier free ukulele magazine THE ROLLING COCONUTS and took a video at the KIWAYA for thier web site's THE ROLLING COCONUTS TV, CH 4 ..
こっちではインターネット以外で他のプレイヤーさんたちを見る機会がないので、このローリングココナッツのページは日本に行く前からよくチェックしていて、実はいつか出れたらなあーなんて小さく野望を抱えてたのでビデオ撮ると聞いたときはかなりうれしいかったです(o^-')b
嬉しかった反面かなり緊張。気が付けばそうそうたるメンバーが見ている中での演奏...。
弾いてる最中、オーディションかなにか受けてるような気分にちょっとなりました。
because of we can't find any other ukulele performer's gig here.. we watch lots of performance on the web.THE ROLLING COCONUTS is one of our favorite site..
so i was kind of dreaming to be on thier site..well, another dream came true.. :)
when we heard about interview and video, as you can imagine, i was bit flattered (giggle).
at the same time, we got really nervous, when we realized , we were actually playing a song for the core of tokyo ukulele scene.. oh god..
i felt we are in some kind of audition or something..
インタビュアーの津和野さん、カメラマンの立石さんは、フレンドリーで、ゴールデンウイーク中なのにも関わらず私達のライブにも来て頂いたりと、エナジーとキャラがあって面白く、すぐに一緒にいてもリラックスできるようなひとたちでした。この人達があんな面白い企画（ウェブサイトやマガジン、CD等）作ってるんだなあと妙に納得したというか。。違う国なのでそうちょこちょこ日本には行ける訳ではないけれど、私達もいつか何かしらの形で企画に参加できたらなあ、なんて新たな目標が。

i felt soon comfortable with them, because they are so characteristic, funny and energetic.
it somehow clicked with me why their produced prodact(website,magazine and CD etc) is so unique and interesting..
i know it's hard for us to do something with them since we are in australia and they are in japan, but one day i'd love to do something with them... opps, i start to dreaming again..

bar HIKOROKU バー彦六 その２
さて 続きです。
バー彦六で５／４ライブをやらせて頂きました。
突然のゴールデンウィーク中のライブなのにみなさんお集り頂いて本当にありがとうございました。
we had a gig on 4th of May at the bar HIKOROKU. thank you so much for coming for us..;)
照明の暗い中だったのでボスコの影でフレットが見えなかったりと多少のアクシデントがあったにも関わらずみんなフレンドリーで暖かく、ホントやって良かったと思えるような勉強にもなったライブでした。もっと精進します。
まいたけさんというすごいプレイヤーの方とも会え、ライブの後少し一緒に弾かせてもらったり、みんなでのジャムもありと本当に面白かったです。
we had a great great time there, everyone really friendly and warm, even i had a little bit of difficalty with light which some of song i couldn't see flet board...well i basicaly made a mistake..
but, it's also one of experience i needed , i gonna practice more to cover that.
we had another solo player who's name is Mr,MAITAKE.he is fantastic!!he has great techniques and friendly.
after our last set, we had a big jam which some stage everyone involved in that.

バー彦六 bar hikoroku その１
今日はまずバー彦六とオーナーでもありウクレレアフタヌーンで活躍中、そして今回大変お世話になったMR織田島について。
i have so many things to tell you about our travelling..(according to BOSKO,says it's world tour)..
today,i gonna talk about the bar HIKOROKU and the bar's owner, Mr ODAJIMA of UKULELE AFTERNOON. who actually made BOSKO&HONEY's dream come true.. which is a gig in japan!!
そもそもなぜ私達がMR織田島と知り合ったかというとやっぱりキワヤさんなんです。
キワヤさんに遊びにいった時、私達がキワヤさんに来ると聞き、散歩がてら来て頂いたみたいで、
嬉しい限り(*ﾟ∇ﾟ)ゞ
とてもナチュラルなフレンドリーな方で、話をしていくうちに、ライブをバー彦六さんでやらせて頂く事に!!о(ж＞▽＜)ｙ ☆
i have to explain from the beginning,
Mr Odajima heard a rumor about we'd visit KIWAYA and he came to meet us.
he is really natural and friendly guy,while we are chatting he offered us to have a gig at his BAR!! how exciting!
で、実際その後、バー彦六に友達と行ったら何とも高円寺独特な雰囲気のあるバーで、何もかもが味がある。まず入り口で靴を脱ぐのにダニエル／ボスコは相当驚いていて、バーの中からはウクレレの音が...
入ってみると何とも懐かしい感じとエキゾティックな雰囲気が調和したみたいな。
食べ物も美味しいし、アジア旅行していた織田島さんならではのビールのしゅるい。
その場ののりでみんなでジャムをして、私達の友達のタカもさり気なくディジュリドゥを披露し、なんともここはクランダか？と思わせるような雰囲気に。おもしろかった( ´艸｀)
afte that, we went to his bar HIKOROKU, it absolutely has characteristic "kouenji" atmosphere,
everything is so interesting, daniel/BOSKO was so surprised we were taking shoes off in the bar,and we can overhear ukulele's little sound...
and when we enter the room it was mixture of japanese style and asian style which remind me thailand and 1950-70's japanese room. every food is really yummy and most of staff i even never tried before. lots of different beer from asian contries (Mr Odajima used to travelled asian contries 20yrs ago)
we somehow start to have a little jam with others who were in HOKOROKU.
and our friend taka also start to play a DIDGERIDOO without notice.(i guess i was having a so much fun and drank..) i sometime felt we are in KURANDA. anyway it was really fun.

キワヤ商会 KIWAYA
今回の旅行の最初の報告は、何と言っても色々な人達と知り合えた
キワヤ商会。
ウクレレコールズというウェブページに私達のリンクをのせたのがきっかけで、何度か連絡を安田さんと取り合うようになり、そして、なんとウクレレコールズにインタビューが今年のはじめに載りました！（あ、報告遅い？ごめんなさい）

KIWAYA where we met lots of great people through there..
i have to explain from the beginning which we put link of our web site to 'the calls of ukulele' and i start to contact with Mr.Yasuda(who work in KIWAYA).
he had interview with us and our band's interview's article is on that site since early this year..

まあそんなこんなでキワヤ商会を知り、（いや、こんな私でもインターネット上で日本のウクレレブランドFAMOUSはよくみかけるので知ってました。）N.Y.に行き帰りの合間に日本に少し滞在できる事が決まり、絶対訪れてみたいと（実際日本のウクレレを触ってみたいのと特にキワヤさんにあるウクレレ博物館に興味があったため）思ってました。
手みやげ一つ持たずに気軽に伺がった所、なんとも色んなウクレレを実際触らせて頂き、しかも社長、会長さんまで紹介して頂き、帰る頃にはなぜお菓子の一つぐらい思い付かなかったのだろうと後悔...
まあそれはともかく、大変貴重な体験させていただきました。ありがとうございます。

we visit there casually and soon i regret.. he introduced us so many people and let us play so many ukulele...in japanese tradition we must bring some sweets as gift..and somehow i forget about that..oh,god...i think it's alright..anyway we had a really rare experience in there thank you so much. キワヤさんのウクレレはクオリティーが高いのに値段がかなりお手ごろでびっくりしました。
そして種類がウクレレもケースなどのアクセサリー類も豊富。デザインの一つ一つが初めての人でも弾きやすい様に設計されていて、難しいコードとかも難なく弾けてしまう。で、軽い。その時、私がメインとして使っていたのがbushmanのジェニー、コンサートサイズだったのですが、ピックアップを内臓してあるため、重さは天と地の差、弾きやすさも違う。こんなウクレレに最初から手に入れられる状況にある日本はすごい！about KIWAYA ukulele it's fantastic! scrumptious!! great quality and reasonable price..great variety of ukulele, case and accessories. so many stuff you can easily get in japan, it's great!!about KIWAYA ukulele it's desined for a player, easy to make difficult chord and really light that time i normally use bushman's jenny concert size with pick up.so that's why i felt big weight difference between them..
ああ後、昔懐かしい曲の曲集も買い、家に持って帰ったらおかあさんが『ああ、この曲歌声喫茶でよく歌ったわ』と熱唱、もちろん私も姉も父とダニエルが下で寝てるのにもかかわらず一緒にウクレレを弾き、熱唱しました( ´艸｀)。
and i bought "old favorite song book" and my mum said she used to sing these song at a everyone-sing-a-song-together-cafe in 60's and I,my sis and (especially)mum sang enthustically and play ukulele while daniel and my dad were sleeping down stairs;)

now we are arrenging some songs, plactising every night for the show.
i really hope we'll be able to have a fun in N.Y. and be able to show our style ..

最近、色々と忙しくブログもままならない状況だったけど、やっと日常に戻りました。
（レイナへ。またいつでも遊びに来てね。）そうそう、この時期が来ると、時間の経つ早さに驚かされ、もう2007年かと思いつつも実感のわかない。
日本今平成何年なんだろう。
なんてかいたら、友達に馬鹿かといわれそうだけど、バカなのでしかたない。
i've been too busy to write any blog last month...
recording, birthday, gig, visiters...etc
when i realized it's already new year..time is always flying...
さて、ニュースがあります。
N.Y.のウクレレフェスティバルに参加する事が決まりました。
もちろんナーバスな反面、すごく楽しみ。
日付は2007年4月28日土曜の夜に演奏する予定。
その際、日本経由するので、何日か滞在するよてい。
3年近く帰ってないから友達にも会いたいし、行きたいウクレレのお店もあるし、やりたい事たくさんありすぎて、多分、全部はできないだろうけど。楽しみ(o^-')b
any way, i have a few news about us.
we gonna play at the N.Y. ukulele festival on 28th of april 2007,saturday.
yeah! so exciting!! and bit nervous.. but i'm sure it's gonna be fun!!
and i finally am going to Japan, it's gonna be short visit tho' on the way to N.Y..
my last visit of japan was 2004.. so nearly 3years i haven't been there!
i want to do lots of things in japan, i hope i can do it all..
もうひとつは、youtubeにまたビデオのせました。
ずーっとやってみたかった曲のひとつで、"one note samba"という曲でウクレレ用にアレンジしたもの。
ボサノバっぽさ出すためにかなり時間がかかりました。
時間がかかっただけあって、なかなかいい感じに出来た気が。。
ちなみにこの曲はtom jobimという人の曲なのだけど、改めてこの人の天才さに驚かされた。
一つの音にコードをついて行かせてそれが何ともボサノバの雰囲気にぴったり。

"one note samba"it's beautiful clever song.
tom jobim, he is genius..mate.amazingly well done with one note follow by chords with bossa nova rhythm. i actually wanted to play this song long time..
