ukulele pod cast
この間のレコーディングで、ウクレレポッドキャストというi-tune用のラジオ様に何曲か録り送ったのだけど、"episode 40"という今週のに早速使われました。
実際に公共の場で紹介されるとなんか恥ずかしいような嬉しい様な。
このショーは一週間に一回やってるのですが、オリジナルの曲がメインで曲の間にウクレレ関連のことを話したりしてるので、なかなか興味深い内容。よかったら聞いてみてください。
we also did recording for ukulele pod cast for i-tune which call "ukucast"..
it's great once a week radio-show, lots of original stuff there and you can get info. of musician too.
between songs, they are also talking about tips of anything ukulele related interesting stuff.
our playing also available on "episode 40" which is this week one:)
while listening that, i's exciting and bit shy...mixture feeling (well basically fine:))

we put another video on youtube today,
一曲目は"TIJUANA TAXI" Herb Alpert & The Tijuana Brass の曲をウクレレデュオ用にアレンジしたもの。お気に入りのバンドの一つ．
first song is call "tijuana taxi" which is from Herb Alpert & The Tijuana Brass..they are really cool! this one are arranged for ukulele duo.
二曲目は、"In The Jailhouse Now"これは古い曲でいろんな人達がカバーしてますが、私達の一番のお気に入りは映画オー・ブラザーのバージョン。このバージョンをウクレレデュオ用にアレンジしたもの。second one is call "In The Jailhouse Now",it's old song,lots of people play this song. i especially like version of "The Soggy Bottom Boys" from the movie call "Oh Brother Where Art Though". it's fantastic! anyway it's also arranged for ukulele duo.

パーティーparty
今日は誕生日パーティーのブッキングでライブしてきました。
パーティーに集まった人たちはとてもいい人たちで、食べ物もおいしいし、私達も満足できるようなパフォーマンスができたと思う。
今日の人たちはスイス人のカップルだったので、一曲、私がヨーデルをする曲をやるのすごい恥ずかしかった。
でも、このグループからまたブッキングも入ったし、みんな楽しんでたみたいで、まあよかったのかなとσ(^_^;)。
today we had a birthday party occasion booking.
really great fun! nice people, foods and music!..i guess:)
we had a great time.
the couple who booked today was actually from switzerland.
i get really shy because one of song, i do yodel...
how embarrassing things to do..oh god..
anyway seems they enjoyed and we get another booking.
so it was a good gig.

近いうちにウクレレpod castに送る予定。
来週も引き続きレコーディングはいるので、楽しみ。

レコーディング recording session
昨日からいよいよレコーディング始まりました(^∇^)
今回のレコーディングは昔よく使われていたライブレコーディング（一つのマイクに向かってライブ方式でレコーディングする方法）
ウクレレの音に暖かさを出すため、音の響きのいい部屋を借り、約12時間色々ためしてみました。
初めてやるレコーディングの方法だったので最初は色々問題があったけど、私達がやってる曲と音が合うので、何曲かいいのできました。タニヤさんがインフルエンザにかかってしまい、今回のに参加できなかったので、来週もまたやる予定。
ああ、楽しみ(^ε^)♪
yesterday we start to do recording!!
this time we tried acoustic recording style which is old-fashion way.
we used one mic and record on one track so it's live recording.
we didn't use multi-track this time. (also we used timber house which gives warm acoustic sounds especially ukulele:))
sounds sooo beautiful! suit our style of music, and on recording,we can hear the music is alive..
anyway, we did tried this style first time. so we had few probrem to begin with. but after that we really enjoyed recording.
we spent appox. 12hours and we did a few quiet nice recording.
unfortunately tanya had a bad flu. so she couldn't make it this time. but we booked next friday as well.
so i hope we gonna get something out of that.
but i'm sure gonna be fun :)

先々週、クランダの小学校のチャリティーやってきました。
地元の人達が集まって色々催し物したりライブがあったりともりだくさん。
子供達がグラウンドを走り回っていて大人達は木陰で休んでたり。
ちょっと風が強い日ではあったけど、ほのぼのした雰囲気。
the week before last we did kuranda primary school's charity.
lots of local people performed on the stage , off the stage,
kids running around the ground,people sit in the shade catch up together.
little bit windy but present afternoon.oh,i love this atomosphere man:)
私達のウクレレ バンドも参加し、ライブはまあまあな感じ。でも地元の人達が何人か”いいね。”とコメントしてもらいましたが、私的にはもう少しできたかなと、まあもう終わった事なので次のもっと楽しもうかと思ってます。
we performed o.k. tho' i get a few feedback which all said love it ...but i know we could do better, i mean i could play ukulele better...anyway,it's finished so we'll do better next gig.
残念な事に激しい雨が最後の方に降り始め最後までいれなかった(ﾉω･､)
でも最後の花火はあわててやってました。
unfortunately at nearly end of this, rain started to pouring down...
they rushed to do fire work. but we couldn't stay there any longer to watch it.
anyway it was fun and happy to be part of it.
ちなみにこのblog 書いてから、下書きとしてとっといてそのまま忘れてたものf^_^;
下書きしてあるのが数枚（何個？ブログってどう数えるのだろう．．．？）あるので、時間あるときにちょこちょこアップしてきます。

私達がやってるウクレレデュオのひとつ。
this is one of our ukulele duo...
話がずれますが、やっとちゃんとしたウクレレの弦を今日手に入れました！
今週レコーディングにまた入るので、間に合ってよかった。
ちなみに先月オーダーしたウクレレも来てくれないかな？
by the way,we finally got proper ukulele strings !:):):)
we've got recording session this week,so it was just in time.
i really hope our new ukulele will be here,well soon enough for recording...

today今日は
新しい曲を何曲かリハーサルでやりました。
まだ公共の場でできるほど準備できてるわけではないのだけど。
でも準備できたらかなりいいものになりそう。
この曲達にはジャズコードといわれる他のコードに比べると難しいコードばかり。
簡単なコードなら私も見てすぐ弾けるけど、ジャズコードは他のバンドのメンバーの様に、見てすぐ弾く事はまだできない（Ｔ＿Ｔ）
考えれば解るんだけど、とにかく時間がかかる。
どんな風にズルをするのは知ってるんだけど(・・。)ゞ
まあ、ズルの仕方を知っていても問題の解決にはならないので、直視してみた。
いやあ、複雑。ウクレレには弦が四弦しかないので、他の楽器などに比べるとどこかのノートを犠牲にしなくっちゃならないので、どこを犠牲にするのかさえ覚えればそこまで難しくなくなるんだろうな。まあ地道に練習します。

but once it's ready,gonna be beauty..
these songs we use lots of jazzy chord which is challenge for me, ...well, not for others.
they are so amazing. can read it,play it strait away which i can do on simple one, but not jazzy chord.. i can keep up with them because i know how to cheat these chords :)
but of course it dosen't sort my problem,so i face it today.
i kind of know how it work, but i take long time to figure out on ukulele.
jeez,it's interesting and complicated, because ukulele has only 4 strings, we have to sacrificed a note to make jazz chord,but once i remember some rule of that,will be less difficult.
i gess i just need to work on them.

we can exchange information and we can read some tip for ukulele playing!!

i seriously nearly fainted..i had to drink strong drink.. to keep reading.
