Everything was excellent- from fast check-in on reception till our late check-out - nice and fast staff everywhere - in reception, in restaurants, bars, cleaning personal. Wide beach of beautiful Atlantic ocean with white sand and lots of sunbeds ! Food was delicious and rich in variety, big clean room with balcony close to the beach, big swimming pools, beautiful green and clean territory of resort, well-equipped sporting area, evening's shows...Just fabulous!

Look no further - this is the one! Definetly enjoyed this hotel and all it had to offer. The beach was so clean..everything was so clean! We loved the customer service from the follwing workers: Max, Nichol, Javier and everyone else who helped us throughout this stay. Some things we wish were different: the room should have a microwave so we could use or baby sterilizer, stir sticks for the coffee... and thats about it lol. Great place truly.

If it weren't for the inconsiderate noisy people in the hallways after midnight, our stay would have been perfect. Staff was absolutely friendly and attentive. The hotel is beautiful and have been plenty of entertainment. The water park was amazing and the food at restaurants and buffets were also incredibly delicious. And the music… for rockers like us, just imagine! We’re are going to comeback soon!

Good place, with lots to do. Plenty of places to eat, although the food isn’t the best. Good thing is that if you don’t like the food one place, just go to the next. The Argentinean style steakhouse was fantastic, and didn’t need a reservation. The Marketplace was really good for breakfast and lunch. French, Italian , and Japanese were good for dinner. Food at the sports bar was crap. Golf course was good, and will pair you up, if you’re playing by yourself. Wish the casino was open more/longer, and it’s kinda a hike. But, overall a good time. I would recommend going, all except the food.

Family vacation /wedding

My family and I just got back from a 8 day/7night stay in room 4204. We were attending a wedding for my sister in law. The wedding was expensive but amazing! They did the beach and I would highly recommend.
My family is made up of myself(40yrs old), husband (38 years old), son (16 years old), daughter (4 years old). This was a very family friendly resort but two major complaints. The food was not great (many things were not labeled, left out under warmers, and with so many restaurants offered - there were many times that we couldn’t get food anywhere or at least options were very limited. The other major complaint was that the beach was soooooo far away from our room. We didn’t do preferred club - which we were glad we didn’t because preferred club members were in a completely separate area of the resort. This would have made it more difficult to participate in many of the main pools and be closer to the beach. Honestly, for what preferred club appeared to get you - it wouldn’t have been worth the extra $400 over all for our trip.
I can’t say enough about the service and staff. Many of them do not speak English as well as I have experienced in such countries as Jamaica and Mexico - but they would always find a way to answer or help me with anything. Our cleaning women even set up our daughters stuffed animals on her bed just like she does at home! So so wonderful!

Cleanliness/grounds were amazing, and the pools were wonderful. But the food is not good. The Habachi was amazing! We went twice! But the World Cafe was hit or miss. The Italian restaurant (on preferred side of the resort) had a great buffet and would turn into a much better breakfast in the morning. This was open to everyone.
Kids activities were great but definitely bring beach toys for the pools and beach. The slides and pool options were amazing! Everything from a shallow pool that our 4 year old loves to slide pools to deeper adult pools.
Again, I would return. But

We loved coming to DRB for last 4 years.
This year we did notice many cost cuttings that will most likely affect our next vacation destination.
Resort is beautifull and clean, Beach is beautifull and clean. Entertainment staff is doing their best to entertain guests. With the exception of Seaside Grill restaurant all other restaurant staff was great.
The cost cutting is at the food buffets and cheapened entertainment choices that are offered. We had problems getting crapes that used to be available, Freshly juiced fruits were in limited supply. as were fruit choices.
The food on the buffets were not as tasty as in the past. plastic drink cups at the bar severly worn out, looking as they were dirty. Access to Secrets royal beach is limited only to Casino and disco. We did manage to see and taste food at Secrets buffet, and it was way better then at Dreams. Also Dreams used to be adults only, now while sitting at the restaurant many times feels like being in a daycare facility
