家族で台湾に住んで6年目を迎えます。
この度、このコロナの状況下で、日本に一時帰国をすることになりました。
急遽台湾政府が6月27日から、水際防疫を強化したため、それに伴い7月の帰国にまつわる手配や予約といったことで忙殺されていました。
そこで、今回の経験をまとめておいたら誰かのお役にたてるのではと夜中の2時に思い立ち、慣れないブログを始めてみることにしました。拙い文章ですが、どうぞお付き合いください。

My family and I have been living in Taiwan for 6 years.
Taiwanese government tightened the epidemic prevention regulations on 6/27, so I have been busy recently.
Then it came to my mind that someone may find this helpful if I kept a record of what I went through. So here I am, completely new to the Ameba blog, writing a blog about my experience in the summer of 2021.
まずPCR検査の予約についてです。
これは6月の新たな水際対策強化とは別に、元々から日本入国に必要な証明書の取得でした。4月には航空券の予約が済んでいて、5月に入ってからどこで検査が出来るのか調べはじめました。
First comes making the reservation for the PCR test.
The documents were needed to enter Japan in the first place. I already made booked the flight in April, and it was in May that I finally started researching for the places to take the PCR test.

→朝8時から4時まで検査を受け付けてくれる、頼りになる所です。あいにく我が家からは距離があり控えとしました。検査結果で偽陽性が出た時に急いでもう一度検査したいといった時の為のバックアップとして利用出来るかも？と思いました。
This is open from 8 in the morning to 4 in the afternoon. Unfortunately, this was a little too far from my house, so we didn't choose it this time. I thought that we could use this as a backup in case we get a false positive on the PCR test.

→ここは比較的予約が取れるとの事で、友人はこちらを予約。ただし台北から60kmの距離なので、車があれば現実的かもしれません。お急ぎだと当日の5時に結果を貰えます。
My Taiwanese friend booked the PCR test here because it is relatively easy to make reservations. However, it is 60 km away from Taipei, so it is recommended for those with cars. The earliest, you can get the result back by 5 PM on the testing day.

→風評かも知れませんが、台湾人友達はこの病院へ行くべきではないとバッサリ。なので検討にはなりませんでしたが、13日前からWeb予約とあります。
Possibly because of its bad reputation, my Taiwanese friend said that we shouldn't go there. So it wasn't an option for us. The reservations are open on the web 13 days before the testing date.

→検査希望日の2週間前から電話でのみ予約受け付け。台湾人の友達が自身で検査の予約のために電話をかけても1時から3時まで全く繋がらなかったそうで（5月時点）、全くの狭き門。医療現場の壮絶な状況が思い計られます。
Reservations, only accepting telephone calls, are opened 14 days before the date. My local friend in Taiwan made calls for the reservation, but couldn't get through from 1 to 3 in the afternoon. So it was a small chance. Rushed by all the calls for the test, I could imagine the desperate situation in the healthcare setting.

→28日前からWeb予約の体制があったのですが、予約はいっぱい。電話もやはりつながりません。不要不急の外出ではないにしろ、多忙な病院に出向いて問い合わせるのも気が引けます。
Reservations could be made online 28 days before the actual testing date, but the spots were all filled. Of course, calls didn't get through. Although this is a necessary thing, I wasn't too optimistic to go to the busy hospital to find out information about the PCR test.
さて、ここまで出揃ったところで、予約を取らなくてはなりません。
