Message

Give deep consideration and be gentle to neighbors and the people around  you.

All humans are brothers, so the gods, who are their parents, reward the child who helps and saves another.

He is, as you probably know without telling, the god of successful matchmaking. He connects each relationship with abundance and glorious things.

He is the famous deity in the story of `Inaba no Shiro Usagi`*(Japanese myth `Hare of Inaba`) which helped a crying white hare whose skin had been peeled off false by Okuninushi's older brothers in acts of misconduct. Becuse of that kindness, he was courted by Yakamihime who his brothers had affections for. He was neary killed by his jealous brothers ( actually he died numerous times, but each time he was revived by his mother's efforts.), and was sent to Izumo no kuni where Susanoo lives at his mother's instruction.

There, he meet Suseribime who is Susanoo's daughter. He overcame trials set by Susanoo and so with his love proved,  he was chosen to build the nation and was assisted by Sukunabikona who appeared as his partner. He is the god of roles and also the god of medicine, agriculture and fishery.
