ビデオゲームオーケストラ/ VGO at Berklee Performance center

２年ぶりに帰ってきました！ビデオゲームオーケストラ！第一回を除いて全部見に行ってます。第一回目は自分の初タイトルマッチが行なわれた日で行けませんでした。


てっきりシンフォニーホールだと思って会場に行ったら「何か違う....」感じでした。いつものゲーム好きオタクの同胞が周りにいない...おいオタ達よ、どこだ？目に入るのは絶対久しぶりに履いただろ？というくらいプルプルしているハイヒールを履いたおばあちゃんとかのご年配方という件


場所間違えた！バークリー音大の会場なのね...気を取り直して会場入り。


Has been 2 years since the last concert in Boston! I have been to video game orchestra except the first one. Well... that was back to 2011 and I had a title fight for local MMA promotion, so I couldn't make it.


Anyway, I thought the venue was symphony as always, but something was different there. I saw old ladies with high heels, who looked not used to wear those, at symphony hall.


Beethoven concert? did I get wrong place?

I realized that the venue was Berklee performance center. Fortunately, the place is close to symphony.

気合い入れてオーケストラ席！うおー出だしはストリートファイターじゃないですか！！写真にビデオがんがん撮影してタグしてくれーという気前の良さ！入りは最高です。


Dragon's DogmaとかGod of Warはした事ないからあんまり分からなかったけど、ロックマンが流れた時はビビビでした...ちなみにアメリカだとメガマンなのね。


I got orchestra seat and they played right in front of me! wow just wow!! They started with Street Fighters theme! I was so excited at the beginning.


I haven't played Dragon's Dogma and God of War, so those themes were not familiar to me, but when music of Mega man was played, I longed for my elementary school days.

他にもボストンが舞台の新作ゲームの歌とかあったり、バンドメンバーが観客のリクエストに応えたりしてました。今回はシンフォニーホールと違って観客との距離が近かったせいか、お客さん参加型で楽しかったです！
そして今回も歌ってくれました！「スネークイーター」メタルギアファンならたまりません。自分に忠を尽くす大切さを思い出しました。そしてコーラスが敬礼をしながらコーラスしてました（最高です）


They also played some music of new game called D4, which the story of the game is in Boston. The movie behind the band showed us a short trailer. That looked awesome! At this time, VGO members get audience involved in their performance. I enjoyed differently from their performance at symphony hall.


Lastly, my favorite song, "Snake eater" from Metal Gear series was played. I loved this song and almost crying. What I loved mostly was that chorus people were giving a salute while they were singing.


It was a great night
