かぶと虫牧場がイノシシに襲われていた

かぶと虫牧場付近の麦畑も、イノシシに激しく掘られている

庭木の剪定枝などを追加し、パレットを増やしてみた

堆肥もまた掘られていた

合鴨たちの運動場に落ち葉を追加した

心地よく新年を迎えてくださいね

今朝この水槽は凍っていた

I added fallen leaves to the ducks' playground

フィールドへつながる小道を掃除した

毎年年末に行っている

地元の皆さんが、誰が掃除したのか不思議がっているようだ

へへへ

I cleaned the path leading to the field

I go there every year at the end of the year

Everyone in the local seems to be wondering who they cleaned up

hehehe

台風によって倒れた樹木がまだ残っている

Trees that collapsed by the typhoon are still left

掃除で集めた土砂は、凹んだ道の補修に活用する

小雨が降ってきたので、土砂を道の端に寄せただけの場所もある

集めた落ち葉は、焚き付けに使える

薪棚に薪を補充したら、15時を過ぎた

帰宅して軽く昼食だ

Use sediment collected by cleaning for repairing a dented road

As it started to rain, there are places just to bring sediment to the edge of the road

Collected fallen leaves can be used for firing

I added firewood to the wooden shelf, after 15 o'clock

I gotta have a lunch after going home.

２回目の門松作り Making a second Kadomatsu

３個目の門松を作ったよ

近所の小学生（かぶと虫が好きな仲間）のお宅に差し上げたよ

今作は、思い切って高さを強調してみました

健やかに成長する男子小学生のイメージです

I made the third Kadomatsu

I gave it to my neighborhood elementary school student (a friend who likes beetle)

In this work, I dared to emphasize the height

It is an image of a boys' elementary school student growing healthily

初めてミニ門松を作ったよ

手のひらサイズなので、設置場所に困らない

これは、我が家の玄関に飾ることにしました

I made mini Kadomatsu for the first time

It's palm-sized so you do not have to worry about the installation location

I decided to decorate this at the entrance of our house

午後から、子どもたちと一緒にミニ門松を作ったよ

子どもたちは、竹をのこで切るのは難しかったようですね

来年はもっと上手くできるでしょう

子どもたちは作品を電車で自宅に持ち帰るそうです

みなさん、良い年をお迎えください

From the afternoon I made a mini-Kadomatsu with my children

Children seem to have been difficult to cut bamboo with a saw

菊芋の甘酒できたSweet sake made from Jerusalem artichoke

菊芋の甘酒が無事できたよ

息子と同じ学校に行っている子どもたちとその保護者の懇親会に差し入れ持参した

みなさんに、クラッカーに菊芋甘酒をトッピングして食べてもらった

みなさんに好評だった

リップサービスかも知れないけどね　( ^ω^ )

Sweet sake made from chrysanthemums was safe

I brought it to a social gathering for children and their parents who are going to the same school as my son

Everyone had a cracker toppe chrysanthemum liquor and eat it

It was popular among everyone.

It might be lip service, though

菊芋は甘酒に？Will Jerusalem artichoke be sweet alcohol

芋谷で菊芋を収穫した

イノシシに食べられずに済んだものだ

I harvested Jerusalem artichoke in Imodani

It was done without being able to eat by wild boar

菊芋を洗い、皮を削り落とし、刻む

Wash the Jerusalem artichoke, scrape the skin and carve it

刻んだ菊芋約230gを同量の水で茹でて、潰す

Boil about 230 g of chopped Jerusalem artichoke with the same amount of water and crush

米麹300gとよく混ぜ合わせる

ヨーグルトメーカーを60度6時間に設定する

Mix well with 300 g of malted rice

Set yoghurt maker to 60 degrees 6 hours

こんな状態でヨーグトメーカーに入れた

In this state I put it in a yogut maker

果たして、発酵して甘くなるだろうか？

Would it ferment and become sweet?

みんなで門松を作ったよ Everyone made a Kadomatsu

友人の好意で今年も門松を作ったよ

今回は過去最大の規模かも！？

こんなにいろんな門松が誕生しました

子どもたちも自分で鋸を使って、竹を斜めに切りました

こうして自分で楽しく作った経験はきっと自信につながるでしょう

私はみなさんに楽しんでもらえてよかったです

参加者が門松を持ち帰ると、お年寄りが喜んだそうです

Children cut their bamboos diagonally using saw by themselves

The experience of making this happily on your own will surely lead to confidence

I am glad that you enjoyed it

It seems that older people are pleased when the participants take Kadomatsu home

最も低い竹がもう少し長ければ、バランスがよさそうです

If the lowest bamboo is a little longer, the balance looks good

折り紙や半紙を使って飾りました

I decorated it using Origami and  Hanshi(Japanese writing paper used for calligraphy)

私が自家用に作りました

竹が目立ちませんね…

しかも左側に偏った印象です

I made it for my own use

Bamboo does not stand out ...

Moreover, it is impressive biased to the left side

今度はミニ門松を作ってみたいですね

I would like to try making a mini-pine tree this time
