私は芸能界には興味がないが、この流れは島田紳助さんがいつの間にかテレビから消えていった流れに似ている気がする。芸能界に限らず、今は昭和の時代と異なり“大御所”が“揉み消し”できる時代ではない。
しかし、昭和の時代に活躍した人たちは相変わらず自分の行動規範が今も通用すると誤解して自滅してゆく。手にした権力が、時代の流れを読み誤らせるのだろう。
予備校・塾業界も似たようなもので、昭和の時代に繁栄を謳歌したパフォーマンス講師は絶滅した。駅前にでかいビルを建てて集客するビジネスモデルも、生徒の学力アップと無関係であるとバレてしまった。
もう賢い消費者をダマして美味しい商売ができる時代ではないらしい。
