動くB.マーリーをほとんど観たことがない、ネットにアクセスすればいいだけかもしれないのだけれど

なんかおっきなスクリーンで観たいんだよなぁと

かつて彼のドキュメンタリをスクリーンで観損ねたことがあったからかもしれないけれど

なんとなくなんとなく片手間に動画で観るのはなんか違うなと

ここでいう Woman には、祖国 (母国) という意味も込められてるんじゃないかなぁと以前から密かに

祖国ジャマイカの現状を憂いた歌詞のようにも読み解けるか？

　And then Georgie would make the fire light
　Log wood burnin’ through the night
　Then we would cook corn meal porridge

My feet is なんだよね、、are じゃないんだなぁ...

たとえ片足を失おうとも、いや、片足だからこそ、前へ前へと進まなければならない、かつて一緒に歩んだ今は亡き友のためにも...

この歌詞を知ってからはもう、ボブといえばマーリー、ディランじゃない

数あるライヴ音源の中でも一際好きなこのver.は、会場がひとつになって大合唱するところなんかもう >_< だしいつ聴いてもね...

なにか自分にいい聞かせるような最後のこのリフレインは、もう祈りとしか聴こえない...

ギターソロの元ネタは Let It Be でのジョージのそれかな？

追記

D.ボウイがセルフカヴァした Tonight (イギーとの共作) は、レゲエ調にアレンジされているけれど、そもそも歌詞に、

　Everything will be alright tonight

とあるように、類似性を感じるんだなぁ、また、そのアルバムの他の曲の歌詞の中にもBob Marley と出てもくるしね

ただ、最後に tonight とあるところがちょっと切ないかな
