SUMMARY
CEOのポール・ピアソンが昨年、母校の卒業式で行ったスピーチに、井出恭平は感銘を受けました。そのメインテーマは情熱でした。ピアソンは経営学修士を取得したあとに入った広告代理店の上司に、仕事にいつも遅刻していると叱られたそうです。しかしそれは、自分にはその仕事への情熱がまったくないのだと気づくために必要な警鐘だったのです。

Ide Kyohei: I totally agree with that. I was quite impressed by the commencement address our CEO Paul Pearson gave at his alma mater last year. I'm sure you've all read the speech in the online corporate newsletter. I liked his main theme, "The need to sustain passion over our lifetime ― Passion for both our work and our life".
Tim Blanco: Yes, Paul said that after he got his MBA, his first boss at the ad agency he joined scolded him for always being late for work.
Janet Pulaski: Some people do have a problem with punctuality in general. But Paul said that was the wakeup call. No pun intended. He needed to realize that he had no passion for that job. He tried a couple of different jobs before he found his calling in the healthcare field when he joined the health and beauty division of what's now A&A.
Lidia Grace: Right. Paul told the graduates that it's crucial to be true to yourself and find something that sustains your passion. He encouraged them to build a life well-lived, not just in their careers, but also with their family, children and legacy. True to A&A's culture, he emphasized the importance of helping others. Because the best thing we can do is be a good human being.
Ide Kyohei: That's right. For me, the most impressive part of his speech was when he said we should find the work path and the life path that makes us want to rush to work in the morning and then be just as excited to rush home at the end of the day.

And I might scold a colleague if I felt strongly about something they did. But I would never scold my boss.

リディア・グレースのthe best thing we can do is be a good human being.という文ですが、we can do isの後は、to beではなく、これで正しいようです(to beでもいいようですが）。
work pathとlife pathの意味は推測です。間違っているかもしれません。
最後のイデキョウヘイのセリフも、意味はつかめてもなかなか訳すのは大変な文ですよね。
