ヒントでお出ししたようにneedless to sayは「言うまでもありませんが」。よく使われるフレーズですよ。

as long asは「～する限り」。接続表現です。get thereは「そこに到着する」そこから「目標を達成する」。 besidesは「さらにその上」。論点を重ねる表現です。
