おうち。
「ステイ・ホーム」＝おうちにいて。ということで、ステファニー・ミルズの「ホーム」を思い出した。ごぞんじ、マイケル・ジャクソンなども出ている映画『ウィズ』（元はミュージカル）のハイライト曲「ホーム」。最初にミュージカル版が出たときに出演していたのが、ステファニー・ミルズ。これが当たり役になり、彼女はスーパースターに。この「ホーム」は彼女の代名詞的な曲になった。ホイットニー・ヒューストンもデビュー前に、テレビ番組でこの曲を歌い観客から大喝采を浴びた。
ちなみに、ステファニーは自身がミュージカルに出ているときに一度、さらに1989年に再度録音している。
ふと思ったが、マイケルやプリンスが生きていたら「ステイ・ホーム」といった類の曲をすぐに作ってネットにアップしたんではないだろうか。レコーディングも各地からリモートで、「ウィ・アー・ザ・ワールド」風に。今、スティーヴィーならできるんじゃないかな。

そうしたら、同じタイトルの別曲（同名異曲）「ホーム」をボニー・レイットが今回のコロナ禍にあわせて自宅から弾き語りでユーチューブにアップ。これはカーラ・ボノフが書いた曲。
