足袋って意外に・・・。

そう言えば、思い出しました。

I remember now!

足袋をはくのって、意外に難しいんですね。

It seems to be difficult for people to wear Tabi (Japanese socks), unexpectedly.

“意外に”と言っても、

成人式の着付けの時には

毎年思うんですけど・・。

Having said that, the young for Coming of Age remind me of it every year, though.

ずっと着物屋をやってきたので、

”当たり前”と思ってしまったんですね、

足袋をはくことなんて。

I normally take it for granted that wearing Tabi is a piece of cake for anyone

since I have been always working with Kimono.

「では、足袋だけ履いておいて下さいね。」

と言って戻ってくると、

奮闘している可愛い姿が・・・。

”OK, please wear Tabi yourself and I will be back soon", I say, and

when I come back to then, I often found them struggling with Tabi.

after a second look, I realized that he is our customer! XX-san looks

so dignified in Hakama with a family crest and also becomes manly

although he is trim, which is a great success!
