My 2nd session in my English school was finished

My 2nd session in my English school was finished yesterday.

I have been living in Vancouver for about two months. I feel time is so fast to past.I feel time passes so fast. I think,,, I don't improve my English skill more than I expected. But my teacher said, "You seem to have improved. Don't hurt your self. Good job! You should be more confident."

I agree with her. I think I have to be confident.

Now I remember, my host father said, "You speak English very well. You can do it. You should believe yourself."

I BELIEVE MYSELF. It is a subject for next session. (But I feel getting better about it day by day.)

By the way, I took a challenge test last week. I wanted to promote early, so I decided to take the test. And I passed the challenge test. I will be in the class as INTERMEDIATE STUDENT next session.

Anyway, I have to do my best.

----------

I went on a trip to Thailand with four friends during the first summer vacation when I worked in Japan. This was the first traveling abroad for me. It was a package tour on a five day trip to Thailand.

We arrived at Bangkok. Then my travel agency's clerk drove us to a hotel which we had made a reservation. I thought Bangkok was a modern city than I expected. There was a lot of convenience store like Seven-Eleven. But, I felt somewhat out of place with them because there were elephant riders and elephants on the street. We can never see this scene in Japan.

We enjoyed the Thailand travel. (i.e. a two-hour elephant riding, the night market, the traditional Buddhist temples, esthetics, beautiful beach, the Thai food and so on.)

However, we had a scary experience.

One day, we wanted to go drinking. So, we went to the pub which was recommended by travel agency clerk. When we got the shop, the clerk led us to the back room. I saw about thirty women sitting there beyond the glass. The clerk said, "Please chose one of them."

We chose the woman, and we sat some big couches. There were the couches around a small glassware table.

When I drank a glass of liquor, I noticed strange things. The pattern of the glass was many kinds of coital position posture. Then, the woman whom I selected talked to me in broken Japanese, "You can have sex with me." I was a little bit terrified.

There were chocolates on the glassware table. When I reached for the chocolate, the woman interrupted me. Then she feed the chocolate to me. Suddenly, she gripped my private area, saying that "You eat chocolate. I eat your xxxx." It was a very strange situation for me. Our friends were also scared. We decided to go out of the shop.

When we were on my way to hotel by taxi, we tried to ask the taxi driver about the shop. The taxi driver said, "The shop is connected with the love hotel. It is a good place for Japanese."

I think it must be very dangerous place. I did not know why my travel agency clerk recommended us. I have regretted not to complain to my travel agency.

Gastown

I went to Gastown yesterday. There are many old constructors in Gastown. Street lamps shape round and stand along the street. And you can watch the oldest steam clock in the world. It is very beautiful.
