大阪もかなり寒くなってきました。
Here in Osaka, it’s getting quite cold.
こう寒いと、どこにも出かける気がしない。
We don’t feel like going out anywhere in such a cold season.
熱帯生まれの妻は熱いお風呂に入るのは苦手なので、私たちは温泉にも行く機会がない。
As my wife doesn’t like to take a hot bath born in a tropical country, we have no chance to go to any hot spring resorts.
だからお正月はどこにも出かけないで家でゆっくりします。
So we’ll stay and be relaxed at home during New Year holidays.
It seems boring holidays but it’s a nice precious time for us as we usually spend very busy and exciting days.
来年は平穏な年になって欲しい

Around 11:30 pm yesterday, we heard the siren of the fire engines.
I thought it was somewhere a far place but my wife shouted, “They are hosing our condo’s wall. We’d better escape.” So we quickly picked up our bags and put on warm clothes. We ran to a fire escape to step down the stairs and got out of the condo safely.The fire was on the house next to our condo. I hope nobody is injured. It was my first time to see a fire happened in such a near place.
昨夜遅くに消防車のサイレンが聞こえたが私は耳が遠いのでどこが遠くだと思っていたら妻が「近い、うちのマンションの下に消防車が来て壁にホースで水かけてる、早く逃げよう」と叫んだ。私たちは急いで服を着てバッグを持って非常階段に向かって走った。下の状況が分からないときはエレベーターは使わないと決めていたから。6階から非常階段を降りてマンションの外に無事脱出しました。火事は隣りの建物だった。火事になった家の方の無事を祈るばかりです。

これは佐久島、愛知県の島でアートオブジェや歴史遺産がある美しくて興味深い島です。2年ほど前に東京から大阪への飛行機から偶然撮った写真です。
名も知らない島を後からグーグルで確認するのは楽しいです。

これはなんでしょうか？やはりグーグルとはアングルが違いますが琵琶湖ですね。くびれたところに琵琶湖大橋が薄く写っているような。
これは誰にでも分かりますね。

東京から大阪へのわずか1時間足らずの飛行でも楽しい。私は窓際の席がいいですね。いえその昔、窓際族と呼ばれてはいた？ことはないはず
