昔しの香港観光と言えばこことビクトリアピークの夜景でしたね、香港啓徳空港に着陸寸前の窓から見た光景も圧巻でした。ビル群の間を縫って飛行する様は今でも覚えています。
The other day, we took JR Osaka Higashi-line train to my wife’s new workplace.
This railway is the newest train line in Osaka.
It started its operation as a passenger line in 2008. Before that, it was only for cargo.
In those days, not electric but steam locomotive trains used to run on single track.
A running steam locomotive with lots of smoke from its chimney used to be a common scene in my neighborhood.
この間、このブログで大阪東線を利用して妻の新しい職場に行ったことを書きましたが、この線は大阪では一番新しい路線です。2008年に開業しました。それまでは貨物専用の単線で城東貨物線と呼ばれていました。私の子どもの頃は蒸気機関車で煙を吐きながら何両もの貨車を引 きながら走る光景が懐かしい思い出です。特に夜の蒸気機関車の汽笛は郷愁を帯び今でも耳に残っています。
My wife bought a pack of grilled salmon with a piece of paper saying “It is too much grilled.”
I just want to say, “No problem! I love well grilled fish.”
