What was I like?私はどう言われるかなあ？

When someone committed terrible crime and was arrested, those reporters of media get some comments of the persons such as his or her classmates or coworkers.
I wonders how my classmates would describe me, if I were a criminal.
I guess some might say, “He was just one of the ordinary kids who didn’t stand out.”And others might say, “He was a type of short temper and suddenly behaved violently.” 

Since everyone has some different aspects of personality, this can be say for everyone.
誰かが酷い犯罪を犯して逮捕されたりすると、決まってその人のクラスメイトや同僚のコメントが報道されます。
裁判で決着がついてない段階でこういう報道の是非は別として、もし、私なら私のクラスメイトたちは私をどのようにコメントするのか想像してみました。「あの子は目立たない普通の子だった」と言うかも、また「すぐに切れて暴力的になる」とも言われそうです。なんか最近の事件の容疑者の風評と似てる？

相反する性格ですがまあ誰も二面性があるのでこういう評価は誰にでも当てはまるかなと思います。

Good memory Izumiya Matsubara

When my wife came to Japan in 1973, she couldn’t speak any Japanese. She couldn’t do shopping at any grocery shops by herself except for one place that was Izumiya shopping center in Matsubara. Its grocery section was not like the old type shops but was a modern system called ‘supermarket’ where shopping could be done without speaking any words.
Thanks to Izumiya, my wife could buy anything she needed and enjoyed shopping itself. On the upper floors, there were many lady wear sections, electric appliance section, kitchen ware sections, cosmetics and so on.
On Sundays, we would spend good time there. I can say that her early life in Japan might not have been so nice and easy without Izumiya.
We are disappointed to know it closed down last autumn.

妻が1973年に日本に来た頃は彼女は日本語が全く話せなかったので町のお店や市場では買物は不可能だった、ただ一箇所を除いて。それはイズミヤでした。一階は松原市初めてのモダンなスーパーで、言葉が分からなくても買い物ができて非常に助かりました。また上の階には彼女の好きな女性服、化粧品、電化製品、台所用品など様々なセクションや店があり、イズミヤなくして彼女の日本での楽しい人生は始まらなかったかも知れない。そのイズミヤは去年の秋に閉まったと聞いて残念です。
私たちの思い出がいっぱい詰まったイズミヤ、ありがとう!

今日は一日中雨

It’s raining all day today.
As our English class is located just near Kosaka station, you don’t have to use umbrella to come to our place.
It takes 2 minutes to get here on foot. Moreover the route is covered with the roof.

今日は一日中雨です。私たちの英会話教室は小阪駅の真近くにあるのでここに来るのに傘は必要ないぐらいです。歩いて2分です。さらにその道のりは屋根付きです。
