今朝、姉に電話したしたとき父の話になり当時の父の仕事の関係先はいわゆる大阪本町、船場辺りの商社関係で役員クラスの人は大阪商科大学(大阪市立大学)の出身者が多かったということなどの話になった。今は市大と府大が合併して公立大学になったと説明すると、姉は「それで今はなんという学校？」と聞くので私は公立大学と答えたら、姉は「だから何ていう大学？」と聞いたので私は「だから名前が大阪公立大学」と答えた。
この会話で私は以前娘との会話を思い出した。
娘が横浜の企業に新卒で就職したとき、彼女の横浜の住所を聞いたら、彼女は「きくな」と言ったので私は「住所はどこ？だと聞いたんやけど､､､」彼女は「だから住所はきくなと言ってる」私はむっーとなって「住所はきくなってどういう意味や」！「住所は菊名ていうところ」となって笑い話になってしまった。

At this time of year, I have a chance to go and see a photograph exhibition and an oil painting exhibition.
毎年この時期に私は写真展と油絵展を見に行く機会があります。
Last Sunday, I went to see a photo exhibition held in Nara city. I really enjoyed them.
先週の日曜日に私は奈良市で開催された写真展を見に行きました。

写真と絵画は私には同じように見えます。
どこが違うのかな？
I can say photography is a skill to describe the beauty of a moment and painting is a skill to describe the beauty of how the painters feel.
写真は瞬間の美を描写する技で絵画は画家の感じた美を描写する技かな。
To put it simply, photos can be taken by chance. But it can’t be possible to painting.
簡単に言えば写真はめったにない偶然が傑作を生むことがあるが絵画はそれはありえないと思います。
I guess taking pictures is much easier than painting.
写真を撮る方が絵を描くよりずっと簡単ではあると思います。
写真は同じ場面を撮っても同じイメージのものを再現するのは難しいが絵画はそれが可能かと思います。
Where can you guess the above photo was taken? It was taken on Sakai-suji in Honmachi. I took it with my mobile phone. The scene is incredibly nice.

それは本町堺筋で撮られたものです。私が携帯で撮りました。そのシーンはびっくりするほど美しかった。
But since then I have been to the same place and took some photos of the same place but I couldn’t take any good pictures again.
でも同じ場所に行って同じ場所の写真をいくら撮っても良い写真は二度と撮れませんでした。
