No scientific reason!

Someone has predicted that a big earthquake and tsunami might happen in Japan without any scientific reason but only with a scene he saw in his dream.
But some people who believe or want to take advantage of the public’s concerns about quakes spread the rumors through SNS.
We should not get into panic being incited by those rumors.

誰かが日本で大きな地震と津波が起きると予言したとか。　科学的根拠は全くなくこの人物が見たという夢の話らしいがこういうのを信じる人がSNSで拡散したりメディアが報道したり地震の恐怖を煽る結果になっています。
自然災害の多い日本です、普段から正しい情報に基づいて災害に備えることが大事です。
こういう根拠のない噂に惑わされてパニックにならないように注意が必要です。

うちのワイフが日本からいなくなる？訂正、ネズミが船からいなくなるという話のたぐい。

Familiar with the place

Last Sunday we visited our son’s house for the first time since he bought the house last year.
Checking with Google Map, I found he lives in an area which is not far from a place where my parents used to live before the war.
The place seems to be more familiar to me.
The area where we live now is near a house where my parents lived after the war. It means we chose our living places which have something related to our family roots.

この日曜日に息子の新しい家に初めて行ったのですがGoogleマップでチェックしたらそこは私の両親が戦前に住んでいたところと近い場所だった。そして私たちが今住んでいる所は戦後に住んでいたところの近くです。
まあ何となく家族のルーツというか縁のあるところに住む結果になったのでその町に親しみを感じます。

My favorite season

It will be a long hot summer because it started 2 weeks earlier than an average year. Summer is my favorite season because we have many exciting events such as festivals, bon-dance, firework display and a long summer vacation. Our parents would take us to some seaside resorts and cool mountain resorts in our childhood. I would usually play catching those insects such as dragonflies and cicadas with my friends. Those are all my good memories of summer.
I’m still excited and thinking what I’ll do to enjoy for this summer.

今年は長い暑い夏になりそうですがそれでも私は夏は一番好きな季節です。
それは子どもの頃の楽しい思い出は夏に集中していたからです。夢中になって友だちとした虫取りや家族で楽しんだ海や山への旅行などです。今でも夏になると何となくウキウキするのは楽しい思い出のせいですね。さあこの夏は何をして遊ぼうかな？
