We heard the rainy season is over.
Isn’t it too early?
If we don’t have enough rainfall, we may have a shortage of water later on.
もう梅雨が終わったらしい。今年の梅雨は短いだけでなく雨の量も少なく感じます。私自身は夏は好きな季節ですが真夏に水不足とかにならないか心配ですね。
まあ大雨が降れば降ったで毎年洪水の被害がでる地域がある。まだまだ自然をコントロールすることはできません。
雨で思い出しましたが
子どもの頃の唄で
「雨が 雨が降っている 聞いてごらんよ
音がする ぴちぴちちゃぷちゃぷ音がする
ほーらお池に降っている 金魚はどうしているかしら」とかがありました。
でもいつもこの唄を歌うたびに、金魚は水の中にいるので雨が降っても濡れて困ることはないからなんでそんな心配するのと不思議だった。
What’s the difference between Japanese flower arrangement and Western one?
I think Japanese flower arrangement is mainly viewed from the front but Western flower arrangement is enjoyed from all directions.
In Japan, flowers are usually arranged in a corner of a room. It means flowers should be arranged before the wall.
日本の生花と西洋のフラワーアレンジメントの違いは何かと聞かれると、日本の生花は主に床の間のような壁際に飾られるため後方からは眺めることは意識していないのです。これに対して西洋のはテーブルの真ん中などに飾られるので四方八方から楽しめる。
でも近年は日本の生花もどんなシチューエーションにも対処すべく進化しているそうです。
Teaching languages means to help many people brush up their communication ability.
It’s good for myself to keep my communication level through my job.
I enjoy talking with a variety of people from young children to senior people over 90 years old.
I feel it’s lucky there is no retirement age for me.
