商家に年季奉公をする少年は、愚痴を言う。オーナーは、寺小屋で勉強するようやかましく言ってうるさい。
A boy who is indentured to a merchant family complains. The owner is noisy and tells me to study in the Terakoya.
遊びたい少年のころ、読み、書き、算盤（算数）と勉強はいやです。オーナーは、将来、優秀な社員になるよう求めてくるものの。
Since he is a boy who wants to play, he does not want to study things like reading, writing, and abacus (arithmetic). The owner asks him to become an excellent employee in the future.
