飯田蛇笏 Iida-Dakothu
秋たつや川瀬にまじる風の音
一年でもっとも暑い頃となる立秋。山中では、川の瀬音に吹く風の音が混じり、秋の訪れを感じます。
The first day of autumn is the hottest time of the year. In the mountains, the sound of the wind mixed with the sound of the river makes me feel that autumn is coming.
風の音から秋の到来を感じると言う和歌、俳句としては、次の作品もあります。「驚く」という、大げさな表現がおもしろい。
The following poems and haiku poems are said to convey the arrival of autumn through the sound of the wind. The exaggerated expression "surprised" is interesting.
古今和歌 藤原敏行
秋来ぬと目にはさやかに見えねども 風の音にぞおどろかれぬる
蕪村 秋立つや何におどろく陰陽師
（注）陰陽師が驚いているのは、風の音です。上記和歌のパロディですから。
(Note) What surprises Onmyoji is the sound of the wind. This is a parody of the above Waka poem.
