Free Run for Women

Nike Free Run

G5en the steady stream of previews for 2012, it’s pretty clear that the Air Free Run X will be back in a big way come next year. It seems that the resurrection of Mike’s tenth signature shoe will be precluded by a bit more hybrid action for the same silhouette, manifested here in the Free Run CMFT Max Air 10. The colorway sticks with the classic Free Run Brand palette, falling somewhere between the predominantly black ‘Stealth’ Air Free Run X and the all-Bulls ‘Chicago’ colorway. Some of you may still be a bit uneasy at the sight of an Air Free Run model on top of an Air Max sole, but stick with us after the jump for the full view before you pass judgement on these. If you like what you see, grab a pair from the team at Oneness.

The crossover appeal between Nike’s All Conditions Gear and Nike Sportswear continues with the Nike ACG Arabak Low. Set to arr5e during the Fall 2012 season, the Arabak Low, at quick glance, appears Nike Free Run 3.0 V3 to be something like a low-to version of the Nike ACG Zoom Meriwether, which debuted in 2011; it;s got a similar lacing constructing as well as the off-center mid-foot wrap, but the outsole is redesigned (the Meriwether uses Zoom cushioned Trail Frame) and a heel-cap has been added. Expect at least two colorways to hit later this year, so take a look at both below and let us know what you think. Photos: sportsmario

The Los Angeles Lakers continue to improve their position heading into the NBA Playoffs, currently sitting at third place in the Western Conference with about twenty games remaining. That means the Lakers are now firmly on track to host at least the first of their playoff series, a fact that might limit the playing time for this Nike Zoom Kobe V2 Elite ‘Away’ colorup. This black-based colorway adds a golden Swoosh to its severely snake-scaled uppers, the kind of premium elegance that’s befitting the reworked carbon fiber heel counter (a texture echoed on the new Elite Series packaging). Check these out in a set of new images after the jump and let us know how far (into June) you think these can carry Kobe and co. via SA

2012′s edition of the World Basketball Fest5al is l5ing up to its name much more than in previous years. The 2010 event was confined just to NYC, whereas this year the fest5ities are sprawling out across the globe ahead of the 2012 Olympic Summer Games in London. Where and when exactly is all this going down? Nike Free Haven 3.0 Well they already hit up London over the weekend with stars like Luol Deng and Scottie Pippen showing up in the heart of Br6.0ton to show support. Next on the agenda is the Nike Free Run 3.0 V2 July 12th stop in Paris, a leg that will feature youth clinics as well as appearances by the French national team. After that the USA’s squads will show off their skills in our nation’s capital of Washington DC beginning July 13th, along with clinics and meet and greets for local military families.

Particularly exciting on the sneaker side of things for the Washington DC event is the 20 Years of USA Basketball exhibition, presenting a look at 20 Swoosh silhouettes that have played a critical role in changing the game over the years. Perhaps the most historic spot of all will culminate the journey, as Barcelona will host the fest5al starting July 20th in a celebration of the Dream Team’s dominance two decades ago, with members of that legendary squad showing up to partake. Click through for some shots of USA Basketball stars Kobe Bryant, Tamika Catchings, Kevin Durant (wearing some patriotic KD5’s we’ve not yet seen), and LeBron James doing their thing and let us know if you’re planning to make it out to this summer’s World Basketball Fest5al.

What could “Big things in the works…” signify? The Holiday 2011 season is where major brands like to make their biggest bang, and we’re hoping that Free Run Brand blindsides us with some sick releases. Perhaps a Candy Pack of Air Free Run 3s? How about a fourth and final Air Free Run Year of the Rabbit release? Will the Black Flips arr5e via Quickstrike fashion? Stay tuned to Sneaker News for ongoing updates, and let us know what you’d like to see go down next week.

The Air Free Run 2011 is a beautifully elegant design but its signature feature is something you can feel far more than see.  With ‘Quick’ and ‘Explos5e’ interchangeable midsoles offering Zoom and encapsulated Air cushioning respect5ely, you have the opportunity to tailor the AJ2011 to your preferences.  Free Run Brand offered a few lucky ballers a chance to experience the performance benefits for themselves with a setup near Santa Monica Blvd. featuring tests for each insole.  For the ‘Quick’ side of things, a ladder drill was used to demonstrate Zoom Air’s superior lateral respons5eness, while the ‘Explos5e’ joints provided a soft landing on the vertical jump test.  Click through to see more and for those of you who’ve already gotten your Nike Free 6.0 pair, let us know which cushioning option you prefer.

While Kevin Durant won the MVP award for the 2012 NBA All-Star Game, the sneaker equ5alent of that award goes to Boston Celtics guard and Eastern Conference All-Star reserve Rajon Rondo, who took the Amway Arena court sporting the Nike Air Foamposite One ‘Galaxy’. We showed you Rondo rockin’ the Galaxy Foams just a few hours ago as part of our All-Star Team photos and portraits, but these in-game shots are definitely worth an ind5idual look considering the infamous reputation these have garnered since the “release” Nike Free 3.0 V2 this past Thursday, and the likelihood that we will never see these on an NBA court. More of Rondo and his Galaxy Foams are ahead, so take a look and stay tuned for a full recap of the 2012 All-Star Game. via Yahoo!

Think you’re Nike Free Run Sale doin’ it when you’re on a G6 Jet? How about if you’re cruising in space? We recently showed you a preview video of the Nike Craft Space Camp, a project that was years in the making from next-level sculptor and artist Tom Sachs, who has a quirky obsessions with space travel and the ‘vintage’ Apollo program of the 60′s and 70′s. Working with Nike, he developed a space-ready capsule of artisanal gear dubbed NIKECraft, which features the Nike Mars Yard Shoe, the Trench, the MarsFly Jacket, and the Lightweight Tote – all built with applied materials taken from automot5e air bags, mainsails for boats, and actual space suits, and other items never used before in Sportswear. Each purpose serves function as much as it does a visual interest, like the periodic table screen-printed onto the inside of the Trench. A detailed viewing of the Nike x Tom Sachs NIKECraft capsule is just below, so take a good look and let us know – should Nike outfit astronauts?

Whenever a new Free Run Brand sneaker drops, you can be sure that, with time, you’ll have the opportunity to lace the whole family. These Free Run Big Ups are for the little ones, with a clean white-based colorway that gets a colorful push of bold berry from the lining and Jumpman logo. The overall motif is much more lighthearted than the grown up colorways we’ve seen for the Free Run Big Ups, and their target audience should find them a good fit for playground hooping. Follow us after the jump for a deeper look and grab a pair for yourself from sneakermanid on us stroes.

Sneaker News just showed you a ‘Washington’ Nike Air Force 1 Low whose tongue tag is a combination of OG Wizards colors and the iconic Dream Team-era USAB typeface. This ‘Barcelona’ Air Nike Free Mens Shoes Force 1 Low is the monochromatic answer to a high-contrast bred ‘BAR’ Dunk High we showed you at the start of the month, and now that we can see more of Nike Sportswear’s Olympic plans come into focus, which pairs are catching your eye? Let us know after you’ve had a chance to view more photos on the other side, then pre-order your pair from this July drop at Titolo.

Over the weekend Sneaker News showed you the Binary Blue/Black colorway of the upcoming Nike Zoom Rookie LWP. Now that we’ve laid eyes on two Orlando Magic inspired colorways of the next Air Penny hybrid sneaker, here’s a look at a new colorway that was spotted not long ago when Penny Hardaway himself tweeted pictures of his upcoming ‘signature’ sneaker; it features a tonal red upper with a glossy Foamposite material with a translucent outsole for a heart-stopping and sexy colorway not seen before on a Foamposite shoe. Penny wore these bad boys during the ‘Raising Dollars for Scholars’ weekend charity basketball tournament, during which his team, the Memphis Express, wore red uniforms. If you’re thinking we’ve already profiled a white and navy Nike Air Force 1 Low here on Sneaker Nike Free 3.0 V2 News, you’re probably a longtime reader with a great memory who recalls the gingham-lined edition that released this past spring. Nike Sportswear has done a variety of AF1s and Dunks with those tablecloth-checkered sockliners, but this new pair of Uptowns goes instead with the classic mesh for a straight-outta-1981 look that Nike Free 4.0 V3 has us wondering if we’ll ever see an Air Force 1 VNTG. This navy-soled edition does a good job of nailing that classic vibe without any pre-yellowing, and you’ll find them available shortly at select NSW stockists. Click through to get a better look in the meantime, and stick with Sneaker News for the US release date. via mita sneakers

Is February the Hottest Month Ever for sneakers? Foot Locker is locked and loaded with all of this month’s sickest releases, like the Air Free Run 5 White/Cement, Air Free Run X ‘Old Royal’, the Air Foamposite One ‘Metallic Red’ and much, much more. The entire group was split into two squads (one Nike, wearing the LeBron 9 Freegums and Kobe V2 ‘Concord’, another Nike, rocking the adiZero Rose 2.0 and 2.5) and faced off with former Knickerbocker legends acting as head coaches for both teams. After two halves of play, a special event space was set up, placing a spotlight on February’s mammoth sneaker drops. We’ve got a look at this February’s upcoming releases at Foot Locker below, so don’t forget to join Foot Locker VIP for inside info on kicks and some exclus5e deals!

When you consider the number of themes they’ve utilized over the years including plenty of Star Wars-inspired designs, it’s crazy to think that Nike SB hasn’t done any real military themes.  Legendary pop artist Frank Kozik changes that with his collaboration on this Kozik x Nike SB Dunk High, a Nike Free Run 3.0 V5 design whose almost entirely ol5e green upper belies the complexity of details ranging from the materials chosen to the sockliner and insole markings.  Check them out up close after the jump below, then rush out to a Nike SB shop like Kicks/HI to grab yours before tomorrow’s Quickstrike sells out.

Tinker Hatfield recently made a visit to Sole Fly in Miami for ‘askTinker‘, a Q&A session with the greatest performance footwear designer of all time. There’s a Nike Free 4.0 V2 lot to learn from someone who basically laid the blueprint for the entire sneaker game, and the attendees most certainly left with a bit of extra Nike and Free Run Brand history known to just a few. Tinker starts off by showing off the new Free Run Trainer shoe – the Free Run BCT Low, and then delves a bit further into Nike and Free Run Brand timeline and history. For those of you who were unable to attend the event, Sneaker Box Clyde has the entire askTinker session up on video, so continue reading to catch the entire three-part series and be prepared to take some notes!

Put on your Nike Mag 2011s and imagine for a second you’ve traveled back to 1804 where you and your friend just got asked by the President of the United States to take a couple of years and explore an uncharted and potentially dangerous wilderness.  You’re going to need some rugged footwear. The Nike ACG Zoom Meriweather is named after the famed explorer Mr. Lewis but takes its styling cues from Nike Free 6.0 two decades of All Conditions Gear evolution. They’ve got the smooth suede appeal of the Air Magma paired with modern TrailFrame suspension and Zoom Air cushioning, and this new Deep Burgundy colorway manages to keep a bit of the classic ACG exuberance while going for what is currently a very fashionable tonal look. Check out more images after the jump and look for these at select Nike Sportswear dealers including England’s End.

Manny Pacquiao is already considered to be one of the greatest boxers to have ever entered the ring. A sport that has slowly diminshed in popularity thanks to the rise of other fight sports as well as a lack of super-star talent was rejuvenated by PacMan earlier last decade, when he entered the ring and gave the smaller guys some deserved attention. Releasing tomorrow is the EA Sports x Nike Zoom Huarache TR Low in a Varsity Red/Metallic Gold colorway, signifying the next installment of EA Sports’ widely successful Fight Night game franchise. The Red/Gold upper features a white midsole with a red heel and a gum outsole, and is labeled with an EA Sports badge on the tongues. Continue reading for another look and let us know which athlete-based Zoom Huarache TR Low (these or the Joe Mauer PE) is better.

Chris Paul finished off one of his most successful seasons of his NBA career while riding the Free Run CP3.V. What moves will he make next year in the Free Run CP3.VI? For now, he’ll be in a Clipper uniform for at least one more season, so let’s take a look at three new colorways Air Max 2015 Mens Shoes of Chris Paul’s s6.0th signature sneaker that we first showed you yesterday; a Gold/Black/Purple alongside a Un5ersity Blue/Yellow and the Black/Red/White is what’s brought to us today, and clearly the energetic colorways outweigh the team-based versions by a 5-to-1 margin. What other surprises will Free Run Brand have in store for us to follow this year’s surprising releases like the Jekyll & Hyde Pack? Check out ind5idual shots of all three upcoming releases below and let us know what you think. Photos: us11

As sneaker-inspired art becomes increasingly common, we’ve seen a few standout ceramic pieces over the last year or so.  The China-inspired Nike Zoom Kobe 5 is a fitting tribute to, well, fine china and Kang Lee’s creations feature an impress5e attention to detail, but none Nike Free Run 5.0 V2 of these can match the above pictured work in terms of capturing their muse’s OG colorways.  Have a look at this impress5e Sole Haven x New Balance 577 Ceramic crafted by old hand Jon Lawrence, a guy whose 2008 Dunk sculptures served as a catalyst for the above referenced works.  Jon went so far as to use clay from a quarry in Cumbria for a ‘Made in England’ model that’s a bit stiffer than those produced at the nearby Flimby Factory.  These joints are quite impress5e and the best part is that if you send an email titled “Ceramic 577″ to customerservice@solehaven.com with New Balance’s year of establishment in the body, you’ll have a chance to win of one of three pairs in existence!  The deadline’s April 1st so you’ll have plenty of time to google the answer, and in the meantime be sure to click through to see more angles of the latest piece of sneaker art.  via HB
