橘玲さんが書かれた「残酷な世界で生き延びるたったひとつの方法」読んだ。
I read ”The Only Way to Survive in a Cruel World” written by Akira Tachibana.
この世界はあきらめなければならないことが多い。でもやれる事はあるということを教えてくれている。
We often have to give up on this world. But this book shows us that there are things that can be done.
知っておくべきだと思ったことを４つ紹介する。
Three things I think you should know.
①知能の70%は遺伝で決まる
70% of intelligence is determined by genetics
スポーツ選手の子供は運動神経が良いし、東大の子供、東大に入りやすいミュージシャンの息子はミュージシャンなる傾向がある。
Children of athletes have good athletic ability, and children of Tokyo University and sons of musicians who are likely to get into Tokyo University tend to become musicians.
この現実は変えられない。
This reality cannot be changed.
だから、努力の方向を間違うと報われないことが多い。
Therefore, if your efforts are directed in the wrong direction, you will often not be rewarded.
私たちは自分の特性を理解した上で勝負しなければならない。
We must understand our own characteristics before competing.
②社会で評価される能力は偏っている
Ability evaluated in society is biased
例えば、会社の面接では、言語能力や学生時代に培った力が評価される。
For example, in a company interview, language skills and skills cultivated during student days are evaluated.
でも足が速かったり、食べるのが早かったりしても評価されない。
But even if you are fast on your feet or eat quickly, you will not be evaluated.
人間誰しも得意・不得意はあるが、社会で評価される能力は限られている。
Everyone has their strengths and not strengths, but the abilities that are valued by society are limited.
もし、社会で評価される能力を持っていない場合は低賃金、低地位の仕事をするしかない。
If you do not have the ability to be valued by society, you have no choice but to take a low-wage, low-status job.
まずその事実を受け止めよう。
We have to accept that fact fiest.
③この状況から抜け出すには、自分の好きなことをインターネットで発信するしかない。
The only way to get out of that situation is to broadcast what you like on the Internet.
インターネットのツールを使いこなして、ニッチな場所を狙えば可能性がある。
There are possibilities if you master the tools of the Internet and aim for niche areas.
YouTube 、TikTok 、Instagram 、LINE等あなたが好きなことまたはあなたしかできないことに興味がある人は必ずいる。
There are always people who are interested in things you like or things that only you can do, such as YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, LINE, etc.
それらの人をターゲットにして、自分にしかできないことを追求すれば、低賃金の仕事から抜け出せるかもしれない。
If you target these people and pursue what only you can do, you might be able to get out of a low-paying job.
時間がかかるかもしれないが、情報発信するだけなのでリスクは無い。
It may take some time, but there is no risk as we are just disseminating information.
やってみる価値はある。
It's worth a try.
私も、その方向性とknow-howを勉強中である。
I am also studying the direction and know-how.
④幸せになりたければ会社以外で自分の居場所を作ること
If you want to be happy, create a place for yourself outside of work.
私は職場で評価されている方だと思うが、そこに重点を置いていない。
I think I am someone who is evaluated at work, but I don't focus on that.
1日を2つに分けて、勤務後の時間をより大事にしている。
I divide my day into two parts and value the time after work more.
これからは組織に依存する時代ではない。だから自立できるように次の一手を模索しよう。
From now on, we are no longer in an era where we are dependent on organizations, so we are looking for the next step to become independent.
残酷な世界で生き延びれるように、まずは明日の英語学習を頑張ろうと思う。
Let's do our best to learn English tomorrow so we can survive in this cruel world.
