さて、今日は日本の伝統行事、ひなまつり　をご紹介いたします。

We introduce Japanese traditional event "Himamatsuri (Doll's Festival)".

3月3日はひな祭りです。

ひな祭りは、女の子の成長と幸せを願う行事です。
On the 3rd of March is Hinamatsuri.

Hinamatsuri(Doll’s Festival) is an occasion to pray for young girls’ growth and happiness.

また、この時期に桃の花が咲くことから、桃の節句としても知られています。

Also, It's also known as the "Peach Tree Festival" because the flowers bloom around that time.

女の子のいる家庭では、下記のようなひな人形を飾ります。
Most families with girls display dolls for the Doll’s Festival called Hina-ningyo like the following.

ひな人形は宮中の様子を表しています。

お内裏様とお雛様だけを飾る家庭も少なくありませんが、

ひな人形には、お内裏様、お雛様、三人官女、五人囃子、右大臣、左大臣、三人上戸がいます。
The dolls depict the imperial court.
A set of dolls includes the Emperor(odairi-sama), the Empress(ohina-sama), three court ladies(sannin-kanjo), five court musicians(gonin-bayashi), the minister of the left(sadaijin), the minister of the right(udaijin) and three servants(sannin-jougo).

However, some families only desplays the top oｆ two dolls, the Emperpe and the Empress.

ディズニーランドには、こんなひな人形もありましたよ

There are these kind of hinadolls at Tokyo Disneyland.

この時期日本各地でひな祭りのイベントが行われており、

東京では目黒雅叙園で3月6日まで「百段雛祭り」が開催されています。

東北の伝統的なひな人形が飾られているそうです。

近くにお立ち寄りの際はご覧になってみてはいかがでしょうか。

At Megurogajoen in Tokyo, "Hyakudan Hina Matsuri" has been held until 6th March.

You can see traditional dolls from Tohoku where is the northeast part of Japan.

If there is a chance, please go and see them!

恵比寿映像祭

Hello, How are you?

本日は、只今開催中の恵比寿映像祭をご紹介したいと思います。

Today, we would like to give you an infomation about Ebisu Eizou Sai.

この映像祭は今年で8回目。毎年一度、この時期になると10日間にわたり、恵比寿ガーデンプレイス内にある写真美術館全館をつかって、アートと映像を紹介する祭典です。

（残念なことに、今年は写真美術館はリニューアルの為、閉館中です。。）

This international festival has been held for 8th this year, which displays and shows the variety of artworks specialized in visions of internationally renownd artists.

今年のテーマは、「動いている庭」

This year's theme is Gaden in Movements.

なんだかとても興味深いテーマですね。

Sounds very interesting, doesn't it?

サービスアパートメントからも徒歩圏内のザ・ガーデンホール、恵比寿ガーデンシネマ、ザ・ガーデンルーム、ガーデンプレイスセンター広場、日仏会館など様々施設で、国内外の映像作家の方々の作品を上映、展示しています。

At many different sites around Ebisu Garden Place, all of which are walking distance from our Serveiced Apartment, are displaying each different works. ex. The Gardenhall, Garden Cinema, The Garden room, The Garden Place center plaza and La maison Franco-Japonaise.

開催は今週土曜2/20までです！

It ends this Saturday the 20th Feburary!

この週末、いつもとは少し違う角度から「映像」を捉えてみるのも面白いかもしれません。

サービスアパートメントの周辺は

朝・昼・晩とどのそれぞれの時間帯にあったお店がたくさんあります。

There are so many places for breakfasrt, lunch and dinneraround the apartment.

今回は最近できた新しいお店で、

フロントスタッフも毎日のように通っている

「CRISP SALAD WORKS」をご紹介いたします。

I'll introduce the new shop "CRISP SALAD WORKS".

定番のサラダはもちろん、

自分でカスタマイズできるサラダボウルがとっても素敵です。

You can make your own salad bowl.

ボリューム満点、栄養満点のランチで、

その日のご自分の気分に合わせてサラダの具材や、

ドレッシングまで選べます。

You can pick the ingredients for salad as well as dressing.

夜もムード満点で

軽めの夕食や、夜食にもぴったりのお店です。

I strongly recomend that you should go there at the night time also for grabing your night snack!

We will introduce Ebisu Garden Place's Valentine's day event.

Valentine's day is quite common in Japan now.

1月30日より2月14日まで　"大人がときめくラブスイーツ　VALENTAINE'S CHOCOLATE SWEETS"が開催されております。

"VALENTAINE'S CHOCOLATE SWEETS" is held from 30th January to 14th February.

桜の樹

こんにちは

Hello.

今年ももうすでに１ヶ月が過ぎようとしています。

One year has passed alreday since we celebrate the New Year.

皆様、如何お過ごしでしょうか？

How are you spending your days?

さて、ここ最近は暖かい日が続いたかと思えば、この週末は雪との予報です

It's been quite warm these days, but the wether report says it wil be snowing this weekend.

私どものアパートメントの敷地内に立っている桜の樹も随分と大きくなり、

The cherry blossom trees have grown so much that are planted around our apartment、

そろそろ剪定が必要になってまいりました

and they need treating.

来る春に向け、素晴らしい桜の花が咲き誇るように、今からお手入れです。

for the coming season for their blooming splendidly

長く長く伸びていた枝もすっきりとしました。

The branches streching too long were trimmed neatly.

これで春が楽しみです！

Now we are excited to welcome the spring!

あと、数ヶ月の辛抱。

This is front desk.

本日はアパートメント内のお部屋をご紹介致します。

we will show you one of the rooms in our apatment.

今回ご紹介するお部屋は、

太陽の光がたっぷり入るとても明るいお部屋で、

リピーター率も高いです。

The room is so blight because of the sunshine form outside.

リビングルーム。

It's a living room.

昼間はこのような雰囲気で

電気をつけなくても明るいリビングルームです。

No need to turn on the light in the living room in daytime.

私が個人的に大好きなのは

このベッドルーム。

The best part of this room is "Bed room".

目覚ましいらずのベッドルームで、

朝の陽ざしがとても気持ちの良いお部屋です。

2BRのお部屋なので、もう一つベッドルームもありますよ。

You don't have to set the alram to wake up and the sunshine will make you wake.

この素敵なお部屋で、ゆったりとした東京ライフをお過ごし頂けたらと思います。

It is getting cold as real winter has come and we had the first snow of the season this week.

How's the weather at your place?

If you are coming to Japan, better to make sure you will protect yourself against cold weather.

本日は当アパートメントの駐車場をご案内致します。

地上に4台、地下に3台の駐車スペースを設けております。

Today, we introduce our parking.

There are 4 parking lots on ground and 3lots at basement.

坂の途中に入口があり、普段はシャッターが閉まっております。

こちらを開けて入庫して頂きます。

Usually, the entrance is closed so please open the shutter when you enter.

シャッターをあけると、左側に3台のスペースがあります。

パレットになっておりますが、上下は致しませんので、そのままお停め頂けます。

サイズは　幅 1.7m 奥行 5.05m　でございます。

There are 3 parking space on the left hand side.

Parking palette doesn't move up and down so you can park normaly.

The size is Width : 1.7m Length : 5.05m.

アパートメント前の車道からそのままお入り頂けます。

エントランス前に3台と、裏通りに1台の計4台のスペースがございます。

こちらのサイズは　幅　2.1ｍ　奥行 5.05m　と地下駐車場より広めですので、

大き目のお車も駐車頂けます。

You can enter straight through from the road.

There are 3 lots in front of the entrance and 1 lot behind.

The size is Width : 2.1m Length : 5.05.

It is a bit wider than basement lot.

裏通りの駐車スペースはこのようになっております。

左側の車は　"カレコのカーシェアリング"　でございます。

お客様ご自身でご入会頂き、最短10分からご利用頂けます。

新年、明けましておめでとうございます！

A Happy New Year!

皆様、お正月はごゆっくりお過ごしになられましたでしょうか？

Did you have a nice, relaxing time during the holiday?

私たちサービスアパートメント恵比寿も1月3日までお休みを頂き、

また新しい気持ちで2016年をスタート致しました。

We, Serviced Apartment Ebisu had been closed until January 3rd,

and had a kick start of our usual service with the fresh feeling.

一階ホールに飾られた真っ白いカサブランカが入居者様たちの

一年の新しい始まりを迎えてくれています。

Welcomed by the nice odour of white Casablanca at the hall,

it is celebrating the tenants' new beginning of 2016.

皆様の今年一年の抱負は何でしょうか？

What would your new resolution be for this year?

私たちサービスアパートメント恵比寿は、今年も入居者様たちが安心と快適をもって

それぞれの時間をお過ごしいただけますよう日々努めて参ります！

We will do our very best to assist all the tenants to spend their time here with at most peace and comfort.

今年も残すところあと2日となりました。

さて、サービスアパートメント恵比寿も門松を飾り、新年の準備が整いました

We decorate "Kadomatsu" in front of our apartment and it is ready for New Year.

門松は、神様の安息所として神様(歳神)が宿る場所と考えられており、

元々は歳神(としがみ)の依代(よりしろ)と言われていて、

神様が下界に降りてくる際の目印としても扱われているようです。

歳神とは別名で『お正月さま』,『若年さま』,『歳徳神』などと呼ばれ、

正月に家に迎い入れられる神様の事です。

そして、門松も別名で『松飾り』,『飾り松』,『立て松』と呼ばれ、

正月に家の門前に立てるもので丈の高い太い竹や小さい松などが使用されていましたが、

年月の流れにより今の形の門松に変化していったようです。

Many Japanese decorate the front door of shops, company buildings and houses with a pair of "Kadomatsu" during the New Year holidays. "Kado" means a gate and "Matsu" means a pine tree. "Kadomatsu" is a decoration consisting of bamboo and pine branches and symbolizes longevity and prosperity.

It is said that this is the appropriate way to welcome gods.

Also, "Kadomatsu" is believed that it is a rest place for gods and is a mark for gods where to come.

また、フロントには鏡餅も

Also, there is a "Kagami mochi" at the front desk.

鏡餅は、歳神様へのお供え物とされており

鏡開きの日に皆で食べることで、そこに宿った力を分けていただくと共に、一年間の健康や幸せを願います。

"Kagamimochi" is two rounds of rice cakes (mochi) with an orange on top. Some of the "Kagamimochi" are presented with Kelp, lobster and dried persimmon. "Kagami" means a mirror and Mochi means a rice cake. The rice cake is shaped like a flat round mirror and that's the reason why it is called "Kagami mochi".　

It is an offering for gods. Eating it with everyone, we wish health and luck for the yaer.

こちらサービスアパートメント恵比寿では、この時期は特に国内外からホリデーシーズンで一時帰国される方など多くのお客様にご利用頂いております。

We, Serviced Apartment Ebisu is welcomig many customers from and outside the country at this time of the year, especially who is spending this holiday season to ahave a short stay in Japan.

クリスマスも近づく中、恵比寿周辺の施設ではご家族でお楽しみいただけるような娯楽イベントが沢山ございます。

As the Christmas season are closing in, there are many events are happening around this Ebisu area.

そこで、今回ご紹介したいのが恵比寿ガーデンプレイス内にございます三越デパート2階にて只今
