こどもの日編 childrens' day

今日はこどもの日なのでお祝いする事にしたそうです

(they decided to have a party because it's childrens' day. )

　※childrens' day is a national holiday in Japan.

今日はささやかなパーティーをするよ

(we're gonna have a nice little party today!)

ごそごそごそごそっちょっと待ったってやあ～

(wait for it.....)

じゃーーーーん！！かぶとだよ

(Tada!!! this is a kabuto!!)

※kabuto is a samurai warrior helmet, and children wear them on childrens' day.)

するとバギーがやってきました

(and buggy came over.)

おっ！来たね～バギー

(oh! you're here buggy!)

バギーにもかぶと作ってあげたよ

(i made you one too, buggy!)

気に入ったようですね

(buggy likes the hat!!)

本当はこいぼのり買ってこようと思ったんだけどもっといい物買ってきたよ

(i was going to buy koinobori, but i got something better!!)

※koinobori is a carp shaped flag we put up on childrens' day.)

ちょっと待ったってやあ～　ごそごそ

(wait for it.....)

どーーーーん！！こいのぼりのおまんじゅうだよ

(tada!! it's a koinobori shaped sweets!!)

いっただきま～す

(itadakimasu! something we say before we eat.)

がぶっ！

(munch!)

おいしいいいいい！！！！

(yuuuuuumy!!)

バギーもどうぞ

(you can have some too buggy!!)

本当にみなさんよく食べますね
