うどん編 making udon noodles

今日も暑さでブンセンとおっさん、へたってたようです

(today, the weather was really hot as always.)

いや～今日も暑いでしかし

(it's soooooo hot!!!)

こんな日は冷やしうどんでも食べよっか

(let's make some cold udon noodles!)

賛成じゃ！

よ～し　じゃあ作っていくべ

(alright then! let's start cookin!)

まず中力粉に水を入れてっと

(i'm gonna put some water in the flour.)

次に塩を入れてっと

(put some salt in.)

しっかりこねないとね

(mix well!!)

おお！ブンセン力入りすぎてて汗だくじゃよ！

(oh! you're sweating bunsen!)

よし！生地は完成！

(good! the dough is ready!)

生地をのばしてっと

(spread the dough!)

伸びたらラップで包んでっと

(i'm gonna wrap it in the saran wrap!)

おっさん、踏みふみするの手伝ってくれる？

(will you help me step on the dough??)

(the old man is stepping on the dough to make the noodles more elastic.)

おっさん、いいステップだねえ～

そろそろいけるかな

(that's good enough!)

切るのはわしにやらせくれ

(i'll do the cutting!)

(sound of the knife.)

わ～い！全部切れた！

(finished cutting!)

じゃあ、ゆでていくね

(i'm gonna start boiling them now!)

着火OK！

(the fire is lit!)

鍋セットしてっと

(place the pot!)

１０分後

(10 minutes later....)

うどん入れていくべ

(i'm gonna put the noodles in!)

ぐつぐつぐつぐつそろそろいけるかな

(sound of the boiling water. it's almost ready!)

ざるにあげてっと

(drain the noodles!)

お皿に盛りつけてっと

(place them on the plate.)

やった～！！！　完成！！

(yessss!! finished!!)

ってちょっと待ったってやあ～

(oh! wait a moment!)

じゃーーん！冷やしうどんに最高にマッチする桃屋のつゆじゃ！

(tada!! it's momoyas' sause! it goes best with udon noodles!)

(mmm! the sause smells great!)

それにしても、暑い中、一からうどん作るとはなかなかマメですね
