My husband and I went out for a live concert at Blue Note Tokyo last Sunday.

It’s been quite a while, nearly three months since we went there for the count down live concert by Marcus Miller group on the New Year’s Eve.

It’s his 30th anniversary special unit with the well known blues guitar master, Robben Ford.
ギターは、ブルースギターの名手

ロベン フォード って、好き。
I’ve been a fan of his since I saw him in person in Singapore long time ago.
シンガポールにいた頃、
David Sanborn のバンドで見ています。
ギターも良いけど、歌声も良い。
そして、かっこええ。
結局 そこかい。(笑)
I like his bluesy guitar and his sweet voice.
And most of all, he is really cool!
Maybe that’s what means a lot to me after all.

Sun Vesper
これ、唐辛子が入ってるので
一口飲んで、ピリッときます。
The cocktail of the night is named
Sun Vesper, made with special wodka, chili and some citrus juice.
Just a sip will kick you off.
パンチが効いて、後からくるくる。
It’s very fresh and smooth but it’s actually very punchy, making you whirl.

二杯目は白ワインで。🍾

Almond pina colada for Husband.
定番スインギン ポテト
Swinging potatoes, one of their best sellers.
Excellent olives.
春野菜の苦みがよいアクセント。
Pasta with spring vegetables and seafood.
香りが抜群によかった❗️
久しぶりに白もいいね〜。
I had amother drink.
Sauvenign Blanc.
It was so aromatic!
I usually prefer red wine, but it was exception.

元気いっぱいなファンキーおじさんって感じ。
Bill Evans, the sax player, was a funky guy full of energy.
He played the saxophone, the piano and even sang songs himself.
He was so groovy!
To my surprise, he sang amazingly well.
I was so impressed how versatile top class musicians are.
サックス、ピアノ、歌まで歌ってくれて
ノリノリでした。
彼の歌が また、実はよかった。
一流ミュージシャンは、多彩だなあ。

いつ来ても 大満足
楽しかった。
