I love to travel ♪

旅が好き。

アメリカに住んだらいっぱい旅をしたいと企んでいたけど
思うように休みが取れず、
週末を利用しての shot trip が精一杯。

でも今回はちょっぴり長めの旅が実現。

旅って五感が研ぎ澄まされ感性が豊かになり
少なからず人を成長させてくれる。

ワクワクが心いっぱいに広がっている今
とっても幸せ気分♪

Cheeseburger in Paradise

パステルカラーがかわいらしい南国ムードのお店。
ハワイにある同じ名前の有名バーガー店とは全く別物の
アメリカ本土にチェーン展開するお店。

南国ムードいっぱいの店内。
どの画面もアメフト試合を流しているのがなんともアメリカらしい。

店内中央がサークル状のバーカウンターになっていて
カクテル等のお酒類も充実。
食事は、店名になっている Cheese Burger のみならず
色々な種類のバーガーが食べれるよん。

American Cheese, lettuce, tomato and pickle.

アメリカのレストランでよく見かける Kobe Beef とは
あの神戸ビーフそのものではなく、
アメリカで飼育し、日本風に肥育させた牛肉をそう呼ぶらしい。

ミディアムレアで頼んだら、
パテの中身が冷たかったのがちと残念。。

New Island Cheesesteak

アメリカではバーガー類はもちろん旨いのだが、
ステーキサンドウィッチもおススメ
特に肉の美味しいエリアであれば是非お試しあれ！

ムチャクチャ美味しいよ～

ソフトドリンクは半分以下になると
すかさず新しいものを持って来てくれるんだけど、
（アメリカではよくあるパターン。）
そもそもビッグサイズなのに2杯も飲みきれないよね～

ところで、

この『Cheeseburger in Paradise』は　Jimmy Buffet 氏が始めた
ハンバガーチェーンなのだが、
このおじさん、実はベストセラー作家であり
アメリカ人なら誰もが知るミュージシャンでもあるのだ。

他に、『Margaritaville』という曲に因んだ店も有り
ここは今週末の旅で立ち寄るラスベガスにも店舗を構え、
最近フラミンゴホテルに『Margaritaville Casino』もOpen。
実業家としての腕もあるようだ。

さて、レストラン『Cheeseburger in Paradise』を作るきっかけとなった曲がこちら。
この曲が当時大ヒット（？）したそうな。

この歌詞がなんともアメリカ人ぽくて笑えるの。

肉好きアメリカ人がその食習慣を改めようと70日が過ぎた頃、
アメリカが生んだ最高の食べ物である
チーズバーガーに恋焦がれてたまらなくなった熱い想いを
曲にのせた歌詞に注目！
