今回は、挿入写真の説明文（caption）からundergoを取り上げます。
国連から、日本は、福島原発の被災者に対し十分な事をしていないと通達が
あったようです。この写真は、ある男の子が、２０１１年３月１８日、
福島原発事故後１週間目に、放射線被ばく量の検査をundergoしているものです。

例＞新入社員は、ここ数週間、研修がある。
彼はテストの結果を苦痛に感じながら４８時間待った。
つまり、苦痛な放射線被ばく量検査をこの男の子は受けているという事ですね。
英語を学習するには、気の毒な記事ですが、この一語は日本語の「受ける」より、
もっと、的確に「大変な事を受ける」という意味を表しているのではと思いました。
