ANIME NEWS: Studio Ghibli retrospective slated for U.S.
GKIDS, a U.S. distributor specializing in art-house and family-oriented entertainment, will offer a retrospective of works from Japan's legendary Studio Ghibli Inc. for the 2011-12 winter season, the distributor said.
The program will cover early works such as "My Neighbor Totoro" and "Castle in the Sky."
"Spirited Away," which was a box-office success in the United States, as well as "Whisper of the Heart," "Only Yesterday" and "Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind" will also be included.
