Film on plight of abandoned pets scheduled in Kamakura
A cat lover in Tokyo approached director Motoharu Iida in April 2004, urging him to make a movie about the importance of animals' lives.
"I love people," Keiko Inaba told Iida, offering her life savings to help him shoot the film. "But I find animals more decent than humans."
