ペットをマンションで飼うことは昔はほぼＮＧでした。
しかし現在ではペット可のマンションが増えています。
我が家も3匹の猫を飼いながら、複数のマンションを渡り歩いてきました。
最初に住んだのは、ＵＲ都市機構の賃貸のペット共生住宅です。これはペットを飼えるＵＲ住宅として画期的でした。
マンションにはペットを飼うお宅のコミュニティーがあり、犬や猫連れのパーティも集会所で開かれ、楽しいペットライフを過ごすことができました。
ペット共生住宅の利点は、猫が逃げ出したときに、他のお宅で預かってもらえたことです。
うちの１匹目ペットであるロシアンブルーがある日、脱走しました。家族で懸命にマンション内を探しましたが、見つからず・・・。
しかしその10分後に「迷い猫」という貼り紙がマンションの掲示板に貼られ、見たことのあるロシアンブルーが写っていました。
「うちの子だ！」
と思って、連絡先のお宅に行くと、外国人のご主人がうちの子に餌を与えて保護して下さっていました。
それ以来、うちのロシアンブルーは、「美しい猫がうちのマンションにいる！」として人気者になりました。
このようにペット共生住宅は助かることがたくさんあります。

Owning pets in condominiums had been almost never allowed.
Recently, however, condominiums where pets can be kept are increasing.
Our family has moved through several condominiums while owning three cats.
The first one where we lived was a pet coexistence residence rented by the Urban Renaissance Agency.
This condominium is groundbreaking as a UR residence.
There was a community of pet owners in the condominium, and pet owners held a party with their pets.
One of the advantages of such condominiums is that when pets run away, other pet owners take care of them in their houses.
Our first pet, Russian Blue, ran away one day.
My family searched around the condominium, but we couldn't find it.
However, after about 10 minutes, a poster titled “Lost Cat” was posted on the bulletin board of the condo, with a photo of our beloved Russian Blue.
“This is my cat !"
I visited a house where my cat was protected and found that a foreign husband fed and sheltered our Russian Blue.
Since then, our Russian Blue had become popular as “a beautiful cat" in our condo.
Like this, there are many helpful things about pet-coexistence housing.
