猫が顔を家具の角にすりつけるのはなぜでしょう？

１ 猫が自分の匂いをつける
２ 額がかゆい
３ 飼い主を邪魔したい
４ 飼い主にアピールしている
猫は角に何度もスリスリして、しまいにはそれを落としてしまいます。
猫の匂いを残したといっても、人間は知覚できませんが、猫の鼻は人間の何倍もかぎわける力があるので、意味のある行動だそうです。
ということは、うちのあらゆるモノの角には猫の匂いが残っているのでしょう。
