「ある理髪師の物語」の記者会見が10月19日開催され
ジュン・ロブレス・ラナ監督と主演女優のユージン・ドミンゴ
プロデューサーのペルシ・インタランが出席した。
1970年代マルコス独裁政権下の田舎の村が舞台。
理髪店経営の夫に先立たれた妻は店を畳むが
次第に反政府活動に巻き込まれていく。
時代の荒波と闘う女性たちの姿を描いた人間ドラマ。
マルコス（1917年9月11日 - 1989年9月28日）は
フィリピン共和国の第10代大統領。
20年間にわたって権力を握ったが
1986年の人民革命（エドゥサ革命）によって打倒された。
昭和40年から昭和61年、の約20年権力の座にいた。

マグニチュード（Ｍ）７．１の大きな地震があり
国営フィリピン通信（ＰＮＡ）は３３人が行方不明と伝えた。
倒壊した建物の下敷きになっている人もいるとの情報もあり
当局が対応しているという。

台風２５号は１１日夜から１２日朝にかけて
フィリピン北部のルソン島を通過して
南シナ海を西の方向に進んでいます。
この台風の影響で、ルソン島では木が倒れたり
建物の屋根が飛ばされたりする被害が相次ぎ
島内の主なコメの産地では農地が水につかる被害も出ているということです。
地元メディアなどの報道によりますと
これまでに、７歳の子どもが倒れた木の下敷きになったほか
住民の救助活動に当たっていた警察官が土砂崩れに巻き込まれるなど
少なくとも８人が死亡しました。
