その中に、フィリピン人＝家政婦という「人種差別」の疑いがあるとして
波紋が広がっている。
投稿されたテキストの記述には
私は（イギリス人）で、英語の教師です。
私は（フィリピン人）で、家政婦です。
私は（中国人）で、上海出身です。
香港に滞在するフィリピン人は約１８万人。
そのうち、ほとんどは家政婦として働いているが
これが、フィリピンのメディアに報道されると
多くのフィリピンネットユーザーが「人種差別」だとして
強く非難している。

フィリピン首都圏ケソン市の路上で
フィリピン人男性(19)が死亡しているのが見つかった。
近くに、銀食器のサビ落とし液の空ビンが落ちており
警察は男性がこの液体を飲んで自殺したとみている。
警察の調べによると
自殺現場は、元恋人の自宅の前だったという。
