１９日、フィリピンジ人歌手チャリス（１８）が
東京・六本木ヒルズの展望台でクリスマスライブを開いた。
デビュー作「シャリース」から２曲と
故ジョンレノンの名曲「Ｈａｐｐｙ Ｘｍａｓ」のカバーを披露。
約２００人の観客を楽しませた。
クリスマスの願い事を聞かれ「健康と家族の幸せ、世界平和を願っています」と話した。

「新世代のフィリピン紙幣」として話題を呼んでいる新ペソ紙幣ですが
早くも一部図柄の間違いが指摘されている。
指摘されている箇所は
全紙幣共通で、紙幣の裏面の地図にバタネス諸島が描かれていない。
５００ペソ紙幣では
裏面のコオオハナインコモドキのクチバシと尾羽の色が違っている。
パラワン島の地下川国立公園の表示位置が違っている。
１０００ペソ紙幣では
トゥバタハ岩礁海中公園の表示位置が違っている。
フィリピン中央銀行によるこうした紙幣印刷ミスは以前にもあり
２００５年にもアロヨ前大統領の名前を「Arroyo」ではなく
「Arrovo」と記載された１００ペソ紙幣が出回っている。

"Arrovo" that is circulating which is described as 100 pesos.
