初登院
昨年末にフィリピンのアキノ大統領によって
恩赦が与えられた元反乱将校のトリリャネス上院議員が
このほど初めての登院を果たした。
トリリャネス上院議員は
１９７１年８月６日生まれ。マニラ出身。デラサール大学卒業。
国軍時代はイスラム過激派アブサヤフ掃討作戦に従事。
２００３年７月にマニラ首都圏で
クーデター未遂事件を起こし反乱罪で逮捕される。
アロヨ政権下でクーデター未遂事件を繰り返し
２００３年に国家反乱罪などで逮捕された
トリリャネス氏（当時は国軍大尉）は
拘置中の２００７年に上院選に出馬。
国民のアロヨ大統領に対する不満を追い風に見事に当選を果たした。
しかし、公判中であるため登院が認められず議会への参加は見送られてきた。
当選から約３年の期間を経て登院を果たしたトリリャネス上院議員は
「やっと支持してくれた国民のために働けるようになりうれしい」と
喜びを語る一方
「アロヨ前大統領に対する反乱を起こしたことは後悔していない」と述べ
あくまでも反乱の正当性を主張した。
恩赦を与えたアキノ大統領に対しては感謝の意を表明し
国家再建のために協力を惜しまないと約束。
前と同じく反アロヨ派として共闘していく構えを見せている。
