生誕150周年
6月19日に、生誕150周年を迎えた
フィリピンの英雄「ホセ・リサール」が生まれたカランバ市では
記念式典が開かれ、世界最大のリサール像が公開された。
銅像は高さ22フィートで
カランバ市が、この日に向けて建設を進めていたものです。

中国の人民元による預金の受付を開始すると発表した。
最低預金額は2,500人民元（約16,735ペソ）で、利息が付くという。
チャイナ・バンクは、人民元の他、米ドルの預金も扱っている。
人民元の預金を扱っている銀行は、他に、BPIとメトロバンクがある。

都市環境局の職員が、ホセ・リサール氏の彫刻を綺麗にしています。
ホセ・リサール（1861年6月19日 - 1896年12月30日）は
フィリピン独立運動の闘士にして
フィリピンの国民的英雄。医師、著作家、画家でもあった。
志半ばにして捕らえられ、スペイン軍の手で銃殺されたが
その意志は人々に受け継がれ
フィリピン独立の英雄として今も愛され続けられている。

フィリピン国家警察がこのほど
今年前半に警察官133人を解雇、525人を懲罰処分にしたと伝えた。
処分対象とした警察官らはいずれも
重大な違法、不正、犯罪行為に関与していたという。
なお、今年の警察官に対する懲戒処分件数は例年よりも少ないとしている。

These policemen are both subject to disposal
