フィリピン　マニラ湾岸の高級ホテル「ソフィテル・フィリピン・プラザ」が
台風ペドリンの影響で冠水したという。
有名ビュッフェ・レストラン「スパイラル」は膝辺りまで冠水し
宿泊客は他のホテルに移動した。

10月14日にパサイ市SMモール・オブ・アジアで
1990年代に在籍していた Hungry Young Poets として
一夜限りの再結成コンサート行うと発表した。

Hungry Young Poetsは、1998年に日本公演を行ったこともある。

9月25日、フィリピン　ルソン地方ケソン州で
農作物の取引に従事する男性(47)が妻子の前で拳銃自殺を図った。
男性は最近、金銭的な問題から不可解な行動を繰り返していたという。
