NASAの人口衛星が地球上に落下するニュースに関連して
カピス州ダガ地区の住民が混乱する騒ぎがあったという。
24日午後6時30分頃、空から発光体が地上に落下したという。
地元警察と科学技術省が落下物を確認したところ
何者かが作った花火のような物でした。

9月24日、フィリピン航空が同社の経費削減対策として
10月1日から国際線11便を減便すると発表した。
また、9月30日に、地上勤務員を2,600人削減すると伝えた。
フィリピン航空は、今年6月までの3ヶ月間で
1千万米ドル以上の損失を報告している。

遺骨収集
フィリピンで第２次大戦中に死亡した日本兵の遺骨収集事業をめぐり
厚生労働省が日本のＮＰＯ法人に委託して集めた骨の中に
女性や子供などの骨が混入していた疑いが強いことが分かった。
厚労省は昨年１０月
「現地でフィリピン人の遺骨が盗まれ
日本人の骨として売買されている」などの指摘を受け
フィリピンでの収集事業を中断。
ＮＰＯ法人が集めた骨の一部について
ＤＮＡと骨の専門家らに鑑定を依頼し、フィリピン政府と現地調査も実施してきた。
報告書などによると
女性や幼児とみられる子供の骨が混じり
ＤＮＡ型が検出されなかったものも多かったという。
厚労省によると
約５０万人以上の日本兵が死亡したフィリピンでは
２００９年度からＮＰＯ法人「空援隊（くうえんたい）」（東京）に収集事業を委託。
住民らに情報収集を呼び掛け発掘などの日当を払う方法を採用。
２００６年度に４５柱だったのが
２００９年度に７,７４０柱
２０１０年度は６,２８９柱が集まった。
