サンマテオ町サンロケのバランガイ議会は
「噂話」を禁止する条例を可決した。
この条例では、女性を中心に噂話を徹底規制。
違反者には、1,000ペソ(約1,900円）の罰金が科される。
条例施行後
住民の間で、噂話や作り話による
けんかや問題がなくなったという。

意識回復
フィリピン首都圏ケソン市のフィリピン大学で
２月１日、２人組の強盗に左のこめかみ付近を
アイスピックで刺された女子学生が意識を取り戻した。
アイスピックは右のこめかみまで貫通し
学生は意識不明の重体だった。
主治医によると視覚も戻り、右手が動くようになったという。
